The Green Parrot (oldest blues bar in America) is just two blocks away, and yet the peace and quiet of this home will make you think you're out in mangrove country. Fort Zachery Taylor Park with its beautiful beach is just a short walk, or even shorter bike ride, from your front door. The moment you step into the spacious foyer, you'll know you have entered a special place. This home has been elegantly decorated to reflect tropical living at its finest. All of the rooms are over-sized, with 10 foot ceilings and overhead fans. Best of all, you can sit on the living room balcony and watch the sun set on the Gulf of Mexico. The property at Truman Annex was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation property. The condo is in a great location, clean, bright, and well-maintained. The property manager was friendly and accessible. We definitely recommend this property to those looking for an awesome vacation spot.
We loved the Butterfly Conservatory - a beautiful place to spend some time. We enjoyed some great meals - the Marquesa Cafe was terrific.
