Notes: The deck and the basement is not wheelchair accessible. Their is a removable ramp in the garage to the house and 36 inch doors throughout. The master bath has a low 3 inch step and seat in the power shower. There are full amenities in the kitchen dishes, flatware, glasses, can openers etc.

On the Lamoine ,Hancock line. Only 10 minutes from 2 major golf courses, shopping centers and hospital. 30 minutes from Acadia National Park. One of the best locations so you don't get tied up in summer traffic on the island. This is up a long quiet road great for biking or walking. only 1.5 miles from Rt. 1 so you can have easy access to down east Maine as well. Many restaurants,mini golf,water parks driving ranges and many shops are all only 10 to 15 minutes away. Blunts pond and beach is only 5 miles away for fresh water swimming or Lamoine Beach is less than 10 minutes away with one of the few sand beaches in Maine. Picnic tables, grills , fantastic views and very few people await your visit!

A Beautiful Home, Views and close to Everything

Stan and Theresa have a beautiful home. The combination of Oriental and Nautical is perfect. The home was spotless and peaceful. The kayaks were wonderful for our entire family - we spotted Bald Eagles, Kingfishers, and Loons, among other birds. The playroom downstairs was great for the teens. The roads were great for walking, biking, jogging, and just enjoying. The location was so convenient - we could get to Acadia National Park within 35 minutes - we went there 4 days. If you want to explore further we went to the classic seaport of Camden in just over an hour and to the working historic harbor of Stonington in less. Having the town of Ellsworth so close was wonderful because with 3 teenagers it seems you can never get enough food. Heather Lane is a private road and several map-generation websites couldn't give specific directions to the house. I used GoogleEarth and a few other sites to get a map of the general area. I'm sure you can call Stan and Theresa and get more details - they are a lovely couple.
