A wonderful 6 bedroom 2,180 square foot cottage that sleeps 14-18 that sits on the top of Blue Mountain and backs onto the Bruce Trails. This cottage has ample room for the entire family to move about and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Blue Mountain. A large deck is at the back of the property that overlooks the Bruce Trail. The cottage is open concept with slate flooring throughout, two wood burning fire places, indoor sauna, Jacuzzi bathtub and a fully finished basement complete with games room. It is located at the top of Blue Mountain, backing right onto the ski hills. So you can go out for a few runs and come back to the chalet to sit in the indoor sauna or in front of a warm fire .Blue Mountain Resort is the #1 ski & mountain biking destination in Ontario. Local attractions, among many, 8 impressive golf courses, magnificent Scenic Caves & Wasaga Beach, the longest fresh water beach in world! The area is also well known for the exceptional hiking along the Niagara Escarpment.

Blue Mountain is the most challenging ski hill In the Barrie area. It has many other activities aside from the ski hill including sledding, snowshoeing, and tubing. It is also a beautiful place in the spring, fall and summer with a lake within a 5 minute drive from the cottage. (Georgian Bay) And two amazing golf courses at the base of the mountain. The town has all the advantages of the city, with shops, restaurants and theaters, but still the small town feel. The location of the cottage gives you the feel of a quite getaway with the town just a 5 minute drive down the mountain.

Good for Summer Vacation Too: Located at the top of Blue Mountain with magnificent vistas. Close enough to Wasaga beach for a day trip, yet far from the crowds at days end. This relaxed getaway has every luxury and is in close proximity to many top attractions, including a 3 minute drive to the Scenic Caves, a 10 minute drive from the Plunge Aquatic Centre and a 5 minute walk to the Silver Bullet Chairlift and a scenic ride to the heart of Intrawest village. The Bruce Trail runs right behind the property and there are numerous mountain bike trail heads just minutes away.

Thanksgiving Weekend

This chalet proved a good meeting place for 5 couples from various locations in Ontario. Bedrooms were adequate and each couple had thier own. The kitchen was large and made meal preparation easy. We were surprised to find it quite well equipped. Games room and video games kept people busy. The weather was cool so the wood burning fireplace was a bonus. We were happy that it was pet friendly as well. Distances to grocery stores listed on website did not seem accurate to us. That would be our biggest quibble.

We had 3 families stay on March break, lots of room for kids to play downstairs and room on main floor for the adults. Nice, modern and clean.Great spot at the top of the hill, close to lifts. Would recommend highly..A+++

Decent stay

The place was nice and clean on the main floor and second floor. However, because we rented in the winter, the rooms and main area in the basement was very cold. The basement sleeps 10 (2 bedrooms - double bunk beds - 4 per/room) and 2 futons.

Great stay in Collingwood.

Three families gathered for Christmas at this chalet. The chalet was perfect for a large group. The area in the basement was perfect for our teenagers. The kitchen accommodated all of us comfortably. Chalet was clean and tidy when we arrived. Close to a ski run for easy access. The driveway was plowed and kept clear. We really had a great time. Our dog loved it too.
