Sunnybank is the perfect getaway. Located on a point in the Northern Neck, it has stunning year round sunsets and the tranquility of nature. Nearby are marinas, restaurants, and the charming town of Reedville. Perfect for fishermen or families that want to get away. Bring your boat, boat ramps available nearby. With deep water and a long dock it is easy to lose yourself to the many water activities. This one level home has an open living area, which flows to the kitchen containing a spacious breakfast bar. Grill fresh caught fish or steam up your crab catch of the day on the waterfront deck as the sun set completes a perfect day at Sunnybank. This lovely home has three satellite TVs, DVD player, books and board games for indoor activities. Another deck also has a soothing hot tub for eight people. There is a hammock to lay in under a shaded tree. This is an inviting location with something to do for everyone. Lose yourself at Sunnybank Sunsets.

Relaxing Family Getaway

Sunnybank Sunsets was so tranquil it caused my go, go, go husband to slow down and appreciate a beautiful sunset while sitting on the dock with our daughters watching boats, fish and crab go by. He has not stopped talking about our getaway since, and can't wait to go back this fall to see the leaves change. The house is immaculate, the area is peaceful, and the people are very friendly. Consider taking a journey to Tangier Island!

Just What The Doctor Ordered!

We really, really, liked this rental. The view, dock, and deck all were great. The hot tub was a real Godsend. My husband had to have arthroscopic knee surgery in June was having a lot of pain. The hot tub was great therapy for his knee. It was also very clean, which we appreciated. We will definitely want to stay here again. We could not have wanted a more people ready place to stay. Thanks Cindy for all the prep work. You thought of everything to make it an easy place to come to. We would recommend Sunny Bank to anyone looking for a home away from home, while exploring this wonderfully unique part of Virgina.

We went fishing and caught our limit of striper and then just spent time exploring the area.

Anniversary Weekend

My husband, I and our mini poodle spent a very relaxing 3 nights at Sunnybanks Sunsets. The home was immaculate on our arrival and everything was extremely comfortable from the bed to the couches and even the air conditioning. The sunset views were amazing and the hot tub was truly a bonus - magnificent. The kitchen was well-stocked and the home was very well decorated. We have rented many vacation homes from several internet sites and we all agree this was the most comfortable without a doubt. We did catch 10-12 fish from the dock and used the gas grill for steaks. Cindy was very informative, gracious and helpful and everything she promised about the rental was delivered and then some. If you are looking for a relaxing or romantic weekend, this is the place for you. However, I must tell you if you are looking for a touristy area with all the noise, congestion and tourist traps that accompany it - keep looking. This was quiet, peaceful and private but everyone we passed waved at us! Thanks again for a very special place to spend our anniversary weekend!! We will be back!

Perfect Getaway Location

We stayed for over a week and really enjoyed the place inside & out. We brought our 22' boat and launched it a few miles away (Smith Point Marina) and left it at the dock for our daily use. We caught around 80 croaker, 10 white perch, 15 flounder and 15 bluefish. Everything was better than expected. We will be staying again sometime soon.

Wonderful and Tranquil Getaway

My husband and I stayed at the property for several days along with our dog. It was so relaxing for everyone! The house is right on the water and has a great view. The house was also very cozy and everything you need is at your fingertips. We had a fantastic time fishing and reading on the dock and spent a wonderful day exploring Tangier Island. The relaxed atmosphere was a great change of pace for us. This was the perfect escape from work and all the other stresses of life. We loved every moment and did not want to leave!
