Cozy Bali-style home, resides amid lush green mountains of the famous Ko’olau ridge as its backdrop, blue color water of the peaceful Kaneohe Bay, with a view of the famous Mokoli’i (Chinaman Hat) island. The home is very private and quiet. A pristine beach is less than five minutes away (20 minutes with kayak), which served as a setting for the box office's 'Along Came Polly's beach scenes. The picturesque surroundings are also in the box office hits Jurassic Park and recently '50 First Dates'. The home is about 1,500 sqft and 2,600 + sqft deck, has 3 bedrooms, plus (1) detached room with twin, 2 full baths, and is fully furnished. The home is conveniently located near: 45 minutes from Waikiki; 45 minutes from Honolulu airport; 40 minutes from North Shore. Kaneohe town center is two minutes away with all major shopping, local eateries and a great mall. The town is serviced by three major freeways, 20 minutes to airport, Honolulu,Waikiki. Care Taker on site.

Minutes up the road is Ko'olau Ranch. This 4000 acre working ranch stretches deep into the majestic mountains and valleys you imagine in Hawaii. Take a tour of the movie sites: Jurassic Park, Mighty Joe Young, etc. Have a blast on their ATV rides or enjoy a scenic horseback ride. Great fun for all. Kailua Beach is about 30-35 min away. It is 3 miles long with white sand and turquoise water. Watch the playful turtles. Watch dramatic kite boarding and windsurfing or go for a fun kayak ride.

The beach here is too shallow and a bit silty to be practical for swimming. Wait for low tide to stroll along the beach here. Our closest swimming beach is 2 miles North to Kualoa Beach Park which is consistently voted one of Oahu's top ten beaches. Kualoa Ranch is across from Kualoa Beach Park.

We loved the Happy Haole Hale! The house was lovely and the views were wonderful! We could not think of a thing to add to the house. We visited in August and found no need for air conditioning. The wind coming through the house was perfect. Our daughter loved the private yard by the beach. The beach is not for swimming but it is so easy to get to the other beaches it was not a problem. Grocery store and restaurants are an easy 10-15 minute drive away. It was all we had hoped for and more. We hope to return soon.
