The living area is spacious and inviting with a fireplace and entertainment center. Off the living/dining area is a deck with an oceanview to enjoy the sounds of the surf while sipping your early morning coffee and reading the newspaper, working your favorite crossword or Saduko or taking a mid-afternoon snooze! Within the gates, enjoy two miles of private sandy beach to sun, surf, fly a kite, stroll or have an evening bonfire. If that's not enough, you can become one with nature and bird watch out your back door at the wildlife sanctuary, play tennis, shoot hoops, walk or ride bikes on the beautiful trails. Maybe you want to be more adventurous--like kayaking with the harbor seals and otters in nearby Elkhorn Slough, or maybe a day of deep sea fishing on beautiful Monterey Bay, or how about swinging your clubs at one of the many local golf courses. There's definitely something for everyone!

There's so much to see in the Monterey/Carmel area including abundant specialty shops, restaurants, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Monterey Pier, and Cannery Row, just to name a few. A few minutes to the north is the town of Santa Cruz with its ever famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, home of the all wooden roller coaster--The Big Dipper. Ride an old steam locomotive through the Santa Cruz Mountains making a stop to enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded in the beauty of the redwood forest. Enjoy a day of wine tasting at one of the many local, award winning wineries. Again, there's most definitely something for everyone! Easy to get to, Pajaro Dunes is just an hour south from San Jose International Airport, or minutes from Watsonville Municipal Airport for private fly-ins.

The hous is perfect, you have all the view from around the house from third floor. The beach is just 100 yards, we walked along the beach every day. It's realy long beach.
Things inside the house are well keep, we felt very comfortable like a stay on our own home.
We ourself plan to come back and definitely recommend to our friends.

We spent three wonderful nights at the Pajaro Dunes beach house. The occasion was a family get-together and included 6 adults and three children. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of space, with a wonderfuld great room with lots of windows and a fire place. Access to the miles long, sandy beach was quick and easy. We have spent pretty much our entire lives in Northern California and we found the location to be somewhat unique due to the location of the homes within a belt of sand dunes. We also appreciated the close proximity to kayaking and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Both Santa Cruz and the Monterey Penisula are close by. We're all looking forward to a return trip.

This house worked our perfectly. This was our 3rd time in Pajaro Dunes, and this was the best house we have stayed in. The view/atmosphere from the 3rd floor deck was great, and the family area on the 2nd floor was perfect for everyone to get together. Overall, large bedrooms and a unique architecture to the house. Definitely recommend it.
