Was very satisfied with the location, at just a few minutes from the Disney Parks and tons of restaurants. The condo was clean and well maintained, and the beds were very comfortable. It was nicely decorated as well. The lagoon pool was perfect for the kids (and adults)! This was a great condo to go back to after long days in the parks and Orlando activities!

BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER

The condo was nice; location was good; carpet needs to be cleaned; a/c is loud. We arrived after the office closed; fortunately we didn't have plans Monday because there was a note stating that we must check in at the center without 24hrs are we would be locked out of the unit. When I inquired about soap & toilet paper, I was informed, by an unpleasant young lady, that they did not supply any items that could be thrown away. The list of rules is rather amusing; you must leave a set of clean linens; towels are to be left in front of laundry room; they even tell you how to run the diswasher. As we tell children, it is not what you say, but how you say it.
Owner's Response: This guest has not submitted an accurate review and it is very misleading.

All guests are given soap and toilet paper, the accomodation is self catering and if they use this they just have to get some more. We do ask people to check in within 24 hours of arriving which is very reasonable. No one is asked to leave a set of clean linen. There is a guide to help people in case there are not used to the model of dishwasher in the unit.

It is a pity he has felt the need to exagerate in this manner. Be assured the resort and accommodation is exactly as described in the listing as other reviews will testify.

Disney Family Retreat

The unit was clean, and the location of the property was ideal for the Disney Parks. However, I was dissapointed to see heavily stained carpets, a very worn-out master bedroom comforter (rips/torn seams), non-fitted sheets for masterbed, and no TV in the master bedroom. I called the Management company within 30 minutes of arrival about the carpets, and was pleasantly surprised that the carpets were cleaned promptly the next day (100% turnaround). I didn't bring up the other matters because they seemed minimal; however, it's those little things that guests remember. Security, cleanliness, and pool was great. Price was right for accomodations...
Owner's Response: I am glad this guest enjoyed his stay and that the issues he had were resolved quickly. Oakwater prides itself on its excellent service.

Oakwater Resort - Fantastic

I recently stayed in the resort with my two young children. The resort was unbelievable value for money.

Everywhere was clean and it was exactly as advertised. The room was large and comfortable and very well maintained. Everyone on resort was very helpfull giving me good advice on a few things and we had a fantastic time.

Cant recommend it enough will definitely be going again.

Convenient location but carpets need cleaning

The townhouse was in a convenient location, a short drive away from the theme parks and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

The house was nicely decorated and it was a somewhat comfortable stay. However, there were carpet stains all over the property so I didn't feel comfortable letting my baby crawl around the house.
I would recommend that the owner get the carpets professionally cleaned from time to time.

Would I recommend this property to a friend or consider staying again? Probably not...
Owner's Response: We have a number of properties at Oakwater and have very few issues owing to the high standard of these properties.

Had we been aware that this guest had any issues we would have been happy to resolve them. The review is not a fair and accurate description and we do not accept that it is reflective of the accomodation.

All properties are maintained to a very high standard and that guests can book in tyhe knowledge that they can relax and enjoy their vacation. We have a local managemnt company to deal with any issues if raised.
