Loiza holiday apartment

Thank you for a relaxing, comfortable and fun vacation! The penthouse was the perfect accommodation for our family - it comfortably fit 7 adults and an infant. With 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths, there was enough “personal space” for each of us. The futon in the upstairs loft added an extra private sleeping space. We appreciated that Yesenia and Miguel met us at the airport and escorted us to the resort to check us in. This allowed us to become familiar with our location and to find the local Walmart Superstore! We ate most meals at the condo, taking advantage of the roof top grill, so we made daily food trips to Walmart which was a 10 minute drive. The location of the resort is very convenient – it was a 30-40 minute drive to Old San Juan, Las Cabezas de San Juan bioluminescent bay (wear bug spray if you do the nighttime kayaking trip!) and El Yunque rainforest. We did a day trip to Camuy Cave Park and the Arecibo Observatory which was about a 2 hour drive (more if you drive through San Juan during rush hour!). The resort did not disappoint – with 4 pools, a mini golf course and the beach we spent 2 of our 6 full days here without ever leaving! The grounds were beautifully landscaped and well kept. Keep in mind that the waterslide is only open on the weekends and they shut the mini golf course lights off sometime between 9:30 – 10:00 (it was way to hot to mini golf during the day). The penthouse location within the resort was great. It was centrally located to everything and was closest to the “lazy” river which was the pool we preferred to swim in since some of it was in the shade. It was a 5 minute walk to the resort’s beach. The beach was nice but a bit rocky in areas. If you are a beach person, a beautiful, non-rocky beach was located just few miles down Route 187 in Loiza. At the club house (about a 4 minute walk) you can get a bite to eat, work out in the gym and access the internet.

This beautiful penthouse exceeded our high expectations and we will happily recommend to our friends and family that they stay here in the future.

The Nazaro-Ventura Family thank you for making our summer vacation one to remember for the rest of our lives.Yesenia and Miguel provided us everything you would need so you could feel like home but at the same time at Loiza's paradise.I felt so confident that my father which is a cancer patient receiving quimio therapy,I picked him up in the hospital and took him with us and he really enjoyed.For a moment he forgot all the adverse reaction of the quimio and he said he felt like he was in heaven already but with his family.We all thank you and God Bless you bueautiful penthouse.

We just completed a trip to this rental. We were 9 total only two of which were under 18. We enjoyed the well kept home. We prepared the majority of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. The air conditioners worked wonderfully and were located in all sleeping areas. My kids enjoyed the pools and the beach was easily accessed and very picturesque. We spent a lot of time in different areas of the Island. When we drove back in to the complex we always were greeted by security that was ever present. It always felt like the safest place on the Island. We enjoyed many activities in Luquillo, Fajardo, and San Juan. All very accessible. We had planned to venture to the west side but we were kept busy with wonderful beaches, rain forest trips, snorkeling, and trips into Old San Juan. I know the west side of the island is very beautiful but It seemed to me the biggest variety is be found only 30 to 45 minutes from this wonderful property. We were very grateful to Yesenia and Miguel for meeting us when we picked up our rental cars and showing us the way to their home. There were two parking spaces available for both of our cars. Driving in Puerto Rico was great. The islanders are so courteous that it is easy to get around. Take a GPS and with an address you can get anywhere on the island. A great vacation at a great property. We look forward to going back in the future.
