The Cottage has a perfect location situated on the east of Silver Lake within walking/rowing distance to the Barnard General Store for all your needs and great food. The garden spills down to the waters edge with its own private dock and boat, ideal for fishing and swimming. There is also a cook-out area. Great outdoors with Silver Lake State Park on your doorstep. The views are outstanding with Barnard Church seen in the distance. This beautiful cottage has a traditional feel with open stone fire place and comfortable furnishings. Ample space for 8 people with 4 cozy bedrooms. Upstairs bathroom with freestanding bath and a further bathroom downstairs with shower. There is a large porch overlooking the lake. End of wooded lane location with plenty of parking. The cottage is fully equipped with TV and DVD, CD/Radio player.

The cottage is set in the village of Barnard, 10 miles from Woodstock and 6 miles to Suicide Six the nearest ski resort. The picturesque town of Woodstock has shops, cafes, bars restaurants, library and of course a covered bridge. There is also a fabulous farmers market situated just outside of Woodstock . The cottage has a year round appeal with summer fun at the lake, amazing foliage in fall and access to some of the best ski resorts in New England.
