A Hidden Treasure:
We had a guest say our place is a 'hidden treasure inside a modest exterior'. It is a small white house with some grapes and grape vines on the front of the porch. When you enter you enter a warm cozy cottage. All you need to add to it are your clothes, personal items, and food.
For your comfort there is a queen size pillow top mattress and lamps on each side of the bed for enjoying your favorite reading before you go to seep. In the living room there is a TV and entertainment center. On the computer desk there is a phone with unlimited long distance, a computer, and wireless connection.
If you chose to cook indoors, there is a fully equipped kitchen; and if you chose to cook outdoors on the deck, there is a gas BBQ.
Things to do in Walla Walla :
There are wine tours with limo service, or on your own. There are live concerts and movies and a walking tour of the old houses. Whitman College has a beautiful campus to enjoy and Pioneer Park is a short walking distance from the cottage. It has many beautiful trees, and an aviary. There are many art galleries to visit and enjoy. Our Historic Main Street and side streets have special restaurants and shops for you to visit. We can arrange for a special tour to the Blue Mountains if weather permits.
Ski:
Blue Wood Ski Area is about 40 mins away. (outside of Dayton)
Golf:
Veteran Memorial Golf Course is just off of Highway 12. (about 2 miles away)
Other Activities:
Fort Walla Walla, Whitman College, Pioneer Park, old homes, and many wineries to visit.
