THE LAKESIDE RETREAT has been completely remodeled, professionally designed and furnished with all new furnishings with modern crisp clean lines with everything you and your guests could possibly want. As you enter the beautiful entry you will be wowed with the grand living area, 52' flat HD TV, IPod Docking, Surround Sound and Wi-Fi. To the right you will be greeted with a beautiful formal yet down to earth dining area with a Stocked Wine Rack and a Complementary bottle of fine wine, just off the Stainless Gourmet Kitchen Bistro- complete with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal, or use our Stainless BBQ for outdoor entertaining on the back deck while your guests use the Hot Tub. Down stairs we have Prepared the Sports Cellar for your enjoyment, complete with Pool Table and Air Hockey, Darts, and an assortment of XBox 360 games for the gamer in you! A toy box filled with age appropriate toys.

The house was absolutely beautiful! A very comfortable and relaxing home away from home! The property was easily within walking distance of downtown Couer D' Alene and the lake, which offered shopping and plenty of dining choices. Also, the nearby supermarket made shopping easy and accessible for those forgotten items. We were able to store our mountain bikes safely in the rear, and most importantly, we had many opportunities to use them! The only criticism we had was the lack of off street parking. Although the rental description notes the availability of off street parking there is none associated with the rental. The private lot across the street is not part of the rental, and we were informed that we could park there at our own risk which is not an acceptable term in my opinion. However, having said that, traffic was not overly busy near the property, but we were counting on off street parking, so that was a disappointment. I would definitely recommend this property to others though, as I already have as a matter of fact, because we had a very enjoyable time in Northern Idaho in large part due to the fact that we had this space to return to day after day of adventure! We hope others will have the same memorable experiences as us, from the evenings spent relaxing in the jacuzzi to playing with the children in the game area and just relaxing in the family room watching the big screen! Thank you Lakeside Retreat for a great vacation!
