Manuel Antonio holiday villa

Casa Maria was exactly what I imagined it would be and more. The pictures were very much alike what the housing was. The property was secluded enough and private, but not to the point you ever felt unsafe. It was very clean and the maid was extremely pleasant and did a great job. Although we didnt get to meet the owners as they were away, Maria was extremely helpful before-hand with advice and guidance. Our group of 8 had a great time. The pool was relaxing and it was very easy to get around as we arranged a driver and van through Maria that literally took us everywhere we needed to go for a very reasonable price. The only thing I would say is the weather is very different. Its sunny from 630-a bout 1 and then the clouds set in for the rest of the day and its dark by 6. It can rain everyday, throughout the day, but its mostly light rain that doesnt last very long. After adapting this was no problem for our group. We simply would get up early to lay out and enjoy the pool or visit the lovely beaches in Manuel Antonio and did excursions during the day. I recommend the canopy and ATVs. These were a blast. Whitewater was also enjoyable. All of our guides were pleasant and fun and taught you about the culture and nature as well. They also provide you with lunch and transportation, which was delicious and effecient. I would recommend this property to anyone...friends or families. I fell in love with Costa Rica and will definetly be back. Pura Vida!!!

Just returned from a great stay at Casa Maria with 7 of my friends. We are all in our mid-twenties and all were visiting Costa Rica for the first time.

The bedroom set-up worked out great for us and the large kitchen and living room were very beneficial, having a group of 8. We used the car service almost daily, which was $20 roundbtrip wherever we needed to go. It wasn't bad since we had 8 in our group, but I can see it becoming expensive if you have a smaller group.

The maid service was wonderful and Alex was always available whenever we needed anything. Helpful hint, know where the candles and matches are in case of a black out. The whole area went out one night while we were there for a couple of hours.

As a group, Alex helped us to set-up 3 different activities: ATV tour, canopy tour and the white water rafting. Had a great time on every tour and it was really nice to be picked up right at our house for all of them.

Overall, I would highly recommend Casa Maria to people traveling to this area. Enjoy!

I stayed at this house with 5 close friends. We all said this was the best vacation ever several times. The concierge service was extremely helpful and was able to get us discounts on several activities. The cleaning staff was very thorough, friendly and kept a low profile. They did an amazing job. The pool was GREAT!!! The views were phenomenal, I spent ever morning(I am an early riser) sitting on the balcony sipping coffee. I would recommend this house for any group that wants to have a great time for phenomenal rates. Just don't rent the place when I want to return. ;)
