Notes: The master bedroom has one full size bed, AC, a 41' LCD screen with satellite TV, DVD, VCR, CD player (Direct TV), and high speed Internet access. Bedroom # 2 has a twin bed that can turn into a queen size bed or two twins, a ceiling fan with light, another computer, and AC. Bedroom # 3 has a futon, a brand new 19' TV screen with DVD/VCR player and Direct TV, AC. This room can also be used as a dressing room or boudoir with enough closet space for four people. The living room has a TV-CD-VCR (and Direct TV), a sectional three piece sofa, an island, and 4 stools that separate the living room area from the kitchen area. The swimming pool can be lit for night time swimming and it has a waterfall. The back terrace is adjacent to the pool and it also has a deck and another shower. The backyard is the oceanfront with rock formations, cliffs, and sand dunes. The front yard has a big beautiful tree ideal for a picnic or for eating out on the lawn.

An Oceanfront paradise: This short-term rental is located right on the Atlantic oceanfront. The back gate opens to a Caribbean’s paradisiacal view. It has more than four miles of secluded trails and unpopulated sand dunes. The peacefulness of this place is unparalleled. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a veranda with a balcony, a big terrace, a deck, a 10 feet deep swimming pool, a big living room adjacent to the kitchen area with a counter that can sit 4 people.

Location: This property is located on Puerto Rico's north-central region right between 2 airports. Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan is approximately 50 miles from the house. Boringuen Airport in Aguadilla is about 40 miles from the house. It is located right on the Atlantic oceanfront on road 681, between Arecibo and Barceloneta. Even though, it is a very private and somewhat secluded place, all of the basic services are located within minutes from the house.

Check in/out & Regulations: Check in from 2:00 PM - 9:00PM on the arrival day and check out before 3:00 PM on the departure day A security damage deposit of $300 will be necessary and it will be returned to your credit card. All transactions will be made by credit card. (American Express, Visa, & MC) No smoking allowed. No pets Accommodations for up to 4 guests only.

My family and I stayed in this beautiful house in July for a week and we were pleasantly surprised. The view from the living room is very impressive. The house was comfortable and it had all the things we needed. The sea is right outside the back gate. The place is very peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. It is also centrally located. We decided to see the nearby attractions first and then we moved on to the south and then to the northeast of the island. The owner was very gracious and offered us some useful information. Thank you. We talked about our stay constantly at home and would like to go back next year. We miss the house.

Unbelievable!!

I don't know where to start with a review of this home. Words like breathtaking and spectacular come to mind but don't seem to do it justice. My daughter and I stayed for one week in Nov for some much needed rest and relaxation. The problem was there are so many things to do in the area we found it difficult to stay put.
The home is exactly as advertised; clean, private, located within easy reach of just about anything. It's actually simple to walk to Indian Cave along the beach although there is some climbing involved so it may not be suitable for small children. There is a ladder attached to the cave wall you need to use to climb down. We chose to climb out through a crevasse in the rock; Ridiculous I know but we sort of felt like Bear Grylls.
Ruben is a very kind, generous and accommodating host. His attention to detail and desire to make your stay completely stress free are evident throughout the home and property.
The property...wow!! Absolutely gorgeous!! Lush vegetation, a private pool and the ocean right out the gate. During the week we had the beach practically to ourselves, on the weekends the local surfers came out and put on a show for us.
We've been back for two days and I've recommended this property to at least six people. I only hope it's available for our next vacation! If you choose to stay here, I can't imagine how you could possibly be disappointed in any way.

What you see in the Home Away photos is what you get. Location, comfort, and cleanliness of the this house was beyond expectations. For us it was the perfect location. It was well-stocked and well-equipped with just about everything we could think of.

Arecibo has quite a few attractions and we saw each and everyone of them. There are also some attractions for the family on the way to San Juan like the Horse Show in Vega Baja and the Science Park in Bayamon. You must also stop at the Big Outlets in Barcelonetta.

Ruben, the attention to detail you have put into the house to make your guests' stay enjoyable did not go unnoticed. It was very roomy and the proximity to the beach is to die for.
We could have easily stayed at this house for our entire visit! Great time, great host, fabulous vacation! I recommend to anyone who's visited before or going for their first time.

Ocean Paradise

This was our first time renting. We were a little intimidated by the fact that we had to rent a car and drive to a place we have never been to. We wanted a real tropical adventure away from the crowds and we went away with it.

I must say it was much better, comfortable, and less expensive than staying at a hotel.

What a wonderful place!

We loved the sounds and scents of the ocean.

From day one on our main intent was to relax , but to spend some time exploring Puerto Rico.

The home is spacious and yet it has a warm cozy feeling. The unique layout made the house look even more private and comfortable. It is fully equipped with lots of towels and outdoor furniture to relax on. The wrap around porch was an ideal place to hang out in the evening and to watch the sunset. The backyard makes it an ideal getaway home for retreats, particularly for women. I would highly recommend it.

We were grateful to Reuben for the accommodations. He was always on hand to answer questions.
We were very fortunate to find this home away from home.

Our personal hideaway

Our goal was to find a house out of San Juan, right on the oceanfront, but not too isolated. This location was perfect for us. We were right on the beachfront, near nice restaurants and a short driving distance from all sorts of sights. It was a quick 45 minute drive into San Juan with various attractions on the way. The house was perfect for our family of four.
I would also like to add something about this property. The house itself is an attraction. The modern decoration is awesome. We were pleased with the hi-end appliances, the lighted pool with the waterfall, an almost private beach, the beautiful garden, and most of all with the big patio with a hammock and the table to eat al fresco. It was our personal hideaway.
I am going to recommend this house without hesitation.
