Great location - great time

We stayed in this home for the MLK weekend, and had a wonderful experience. It is clean and quaint. I You can't beat the location. We skiied home for lunch, and for the kids to warm up before hitting the slopes for the afternoon. Louis and Lisa were a pleasure to deal with, and easy to get in touch with. I would definitely recommend this home for people looking for a simple, comfortable place to enjoy. Big Bear is a great mountain for beginner to intermediate skiers. The Summit Restaurant was fun on Sat. night...good music and decent food. The deli had everything you needed. Ski rental was quick and easy if you go early.

This house has a great location...walk out the back door 30 paces your on the slopes. we slept 4 adults and 5 kids with comfort..the house is warm and cozy on even the coldest nights. ..The ski lodge is brand new and very nice.. after hard day skiing we enjoyed several adult beverages in the bar area while the kids were at the house within talking distance of our two way radio.... Lisa and Louis are a pleasure they are very nice to deal with...Would go back in a instant.

Great stay!!!

A couple of my friends and myself rented this chalet over the course of Valentine's Day weekend, and in one word it was GREAT! They weren't joking when they said the slopes were literally in the back yard. A quick 3 minute walk puts you at the base of the bunny slope.

The chalet was warm and cozy. The rooms were a bit on the smaller side, but it wasn't that much of a hindrance. Everyone was comfortable and the sleeper sofa was a queen size.

The kitchen had it's basic utensils and dishes, but that's all we really needed either way. The cable TV was a bit lacking, but who really goes to spend a day in front of the tube?

The only qualm with the chalet was the hot water. 2 people took a shower and the rest of us got stuck w/ cold water. Quite an inconvenience, but I've had worse.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend this chalet to anyone and would definitely come back for another stay in the future.

We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed every moment. The property was fabulous and very well equipped and we could not have asked for a better place to have been based. It was very convenient location to ski.

Summer Fun Vacation

My Husband and I and 2 dogs along with some friends and family stayed at the Chalet from August 17th - August 24th 2008. The Chalet is beautiful. Perfect size and perfect setup. The location is just steps away from the pool, lodge and country store. We spent most nights right outside on the front deck. The deer actually ate right out of our neices hand. We enjoyed long hikes daily with the dogs and kids. The Delaware River park also in the community was great for all of us along with the dogs to go swimming in. The Lake was also beautiful. If you are looking for a great family vacation with lots to do Masthope is a perfect location and this house is great. The family room was the best for playing games at night with the kids. The teens enjoyed the privacy of the loft upstairs. The one air condittioner in the living room when needed worked fine. WE had great weather so very rarely needed it. Thank you again for letting us rent your home. I'm counting on coming back next summer maybe even for two weeks.
