Located among three Golf & Country Clubs, one available for day use. Tennis court and picnic gazebo for guest adjoining our cottage. Hike Whiteside Mountain or the numerous waterfalls just minutes away. Gourmet kitchen with custom knotty alder cabinets, solid granite counter tops, island bar, Bosch gas cook top, all new upper end stainless appliances. Living room has vaulted ceiling, redwood walls and massive 18’ granite fireplace. Seventy feet of wrap around decks, with large lower deck with gas cookout area and hot-tub. High-speed Internet and free long distance and cable. Den with large flat-screen TV, wet bar, wood burning stove and cherry floors. Can be separate area for a second family. Enjoy one level throughout home. Level entry from parking area.

Great property with very helpful owners. This home has everything you could want or need for a terrific getaway. We especially loved the bathrooms and the gas fireplace was perfect for the cold weather. We just returned January 2009 and were blessed with lots of snow and cold! What a fun time. Highlands is great with numerous shops and delicious restaurants. The hiking is fantastic and snow skiing is within 1 1/2 hr.drive.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: We have had the most wonderful guest. When we created the home, we wanted it to be very special to all who stay with us. We love the interaction in dealing directly with our guest, answering their questions about favorite hikes, restaurants and seeing photos of their families at our home. THANK YOU ALL!

I call it "The Summer Wonderland." I spent a month with grandchildren in this exquisite (and comfortable) home and enjoyed every second. Home is lovely, facilities top-notch, weather, perfect and owners wonderful and easy to deal with. Going back this year with great pleasure.

We rented property for one week in July. Very well appointed, very comfortable and a deck to die for. We liked it so much we have already leased it for 2 weeks in Summer 2009. Best rental property we have stayed in during our many travels.

We stayed in this lovely property for a week in July. Well appointed, great deck and extremely relaxing environment. We are going back for 2 weeks in summer of 2009. this is the best cacation rental home that we have found in our travels.

We,(two couples)just spent a week in July at this lovely home. Everything is updated beautifully. The bathrooms in the master bedrooms are gorgeous. The home is so comfortable and the view of the lake is serene. We loved the deck. The home is fully equipped and extremely clean. Internet service was outstanding and being able to call our children for free was great. Everything was wonderful!!
