If you are looking for a place to relax -this is it! This place offers numerous activities year-round. This log cabin is newly built and fully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. It sits on an acre of wooded private land on Glacier lake. It is just 15 minutes away from Wisconsin dells area. 20 min away from Cascade mountain and Christmas mountain resort in case you choose to go skiing. Golf players can enjoy a golf course minutes away from the house. When you are tired of daytime activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, biking, hunting, fishing & water parks, you can enjoy a cozy fireplace or cook up a meal on a grill. Later simply enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding nature or cuddle up in bed and watch your favorite TV channel or DVD.

It's even better in person!

The cabin was gorgeous, even in the winter! It had a nice open layout, beautiful woodwork, and with plenty of sleeping room for 12 people. It's also right on the lake, yet still feels secluded. We hope to go back soon!

Spectacular Cabin

This cabin had a great secluded location just outside of the Wisconsin Dells. The property was very well maintained and was incredibly spacious! Needless to say, I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again! In fact, I found this cabin to be much more comfortable and complete then my own home back in Illinois! The lake was quiet and very clean, you could actually see the fish swimming in the water! Pan Fish were everywhere (for the enthusiast) and there was also decent size bass in the lake! My only suggestion for future renters is to purchase your food supplies in the Dells, there was only one small grocery store in Oxford and seemed to be a bit pricey. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a secluded get away with their family or a group of friends! Again, the cabin was immaculate and the area was spectacular!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Spectacular Cabin

Somewhat misleading

The house is beautiful and well maintained. The owner is somewhat misleading in her claim that you are 20 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells area. It is a good 45 minutes to the Dells(which was our primary objective). If you want seclusion you would be fine here. The house is in the middle of nowhere. The owner was not the best communicator. We have rented homes all across the country and received much information prior to our visit. We attempted several emails and phone calls which went unreturned. When we reported her to Homeaway she seemed genuinely surprised. It did work out in the end though.

don't let this review to discourage you from staying with us. Wisconsin Dells is only 20 miles away from our house in Oxford, Wi. I encourage you to print directions from our property to Wisconsin Dells prior to your arrival to the cabin in order to not get lost and loose time on traveling. Also, if you can not reach us by phone, please email with any concerns and we will respont within 24 hours of your email.

I hope you will enjoy our cabin and the nature around it.

Great Memorial Day

We stayed here with our friends for 3 nights on Memorial Day weekend and we had a lot of fun. The house is great. It's clean and pleasant to be in. Very quiet place to relax and look at sunsets by the lake. Renting it was easy and Lina was super helpful. I recommend it 100%.
