Peaceful Retreat
Review Submitted: July 1, 2008

Wife and I stayed at this property during the week of 6/22/08 with three teenage children. As advertised, this propoerty is very secluded and quiet, (there is a road close to the house but is not a busy street). There is no swimming by the house, but the included pontoon boat takes care of that need. You can swim from the boat or take it to a sand bar island for swimming. House is comfortable and has plenty of room for 6 people. Lake is beautiful and fun to explore with the boat, (many coves and islands). Drawbacks are minor: no sitting/sand area by the lake, (would be nice to have bonfire pit by water), and cable tv only goes to channel 13, (no espn/fox sports etc). Also, property is heavily wooded so bring the bug spray. Overall, this is a very nice vacation spot for those that want privacy and that "up north" experience. Enjoy!
