A Perfect Place to Stay

This villa was very secluded, peaceful and away from crowds. When we first walked into the villa, we thought we were in a palace. The high ceilings, the gorgeous tile work, the tall windows and the well thought out décor were quite impressive. From the upstairs decks, we watched the turquoise and azure sea go by and many colorful sunsets. We enjoyed having our own non-chlorinated pool, which is better for sensitive skin and lungs. The grounds keeper cleaned the pool and outside area daily. The pool area was very comfortable with a grand barbecue, a sweet picnic table, umbrella, lounge chairs and a shaded outdoor living room. We had a lot of fun just relaxing in the backyard reading and eating breakfast outside. The management staff was friendly and helpful at answering all of our questions. They even made sure that we had pool and beach toys for our 7-year-old son. She gave us suggestions on where to go, where to eat and what to do. It was nice to have a local’s perspective. She met us at our car rental place and escorted us directly to the villa. The house was extremely clean and a cleaning woman came in mid-week. She changed the sheets and did a great job at making the villa perfect again. The beds were beyond comfortable. When we returned home we realized that we needed to buy a new bed for ourselves. We loved the kitchen. The appliances were stainless steal even the cookware, which I greatly appreciated. The Villa even had a mixer, glass bowls, measuring cups and glassware for me to make a cake for my son’s birthday. We made smoothies in the morning with a blender and had nice presentation dishes for our delicious lobster dinners. The flat screen TV had many channels for my husband to enjoy late at night. The golf course was just a few minutes drive away, which he also enjoyed. We didn’t have to bring a lot of clothes, because there was a washer and dryer, which was totally convenient. Let’s not forget the gorgeous bathrooms. There were four total and the two bathrooms upstairs were very spacious, well decorated with glass tiles and a bidet for those interested. At night I would relax in the comfy bathtub recounting the wonderful day we had on the island. We traveled all around, snorkeling everyday, we saw a 6-foot reef shark and collected dozens of conch shells. At the end of the day, it was always a pleasure to come home to “The Nest.” We loved it there and are looking forward to returning.
