To complete your Maine vacation, travel some 5 minutes to Reid State Park's pristine beaches or the Five Islands Seafood Co-op for fresh Lobster. Other wharfside and/or gourmet restaurants are only ten minutes away.

Georgetown Island provides a great location for visiting area attractions in Portland, Freeport, Brunswick, Bath, Boothbay Harbor, Rockland, Camden and many other mid-coast areas. Take a hike or all-terrain bike to the beach or just through the woods at Reid State Park. A well-marked trail is on the opposite side of the main road from the driveway. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Island on the many hiking trails including an Audubon sanctuary. Children will enjoy the tidal pools at Reid State Park where the water is warmer and calm. The waxing and waning of the tides creates different characters both at the beach and along the rocks that mark the coast.
