Step outside onto the oh-so-private covered deck & breathe in the brisk mountain air. Let the chorus of songbirds lift your spirits by day and the denizens of the woodlands lull you to sleep at night. Greet the day with a long leisurely walk down the sloping hillside to the babbling brook below and spend a blissfully quiet evening sipping mulled cider curled up by the fire in the overstuffed denim furniture. Tastefully decorated throughout and carefully appointed with everything you'd need to feel at home, you'll settle right in. Succumb to the peaceful influence & experience a dwelling at harmony with its surroundings.
The Perfect Plan!:
The spacious master suite on the main level, featuring a luxurious pillow-top king size bed and French doors leading out to the covered deck with plenty of comfy wicker furniture and private enough to sit out in your 'jammies and sip your morning brew. Also on this level is a queen bedroom & 2nd full bath. The great room has an expansive, open living room area with corner stone gas log fireplace, giant screen HDTV, inviting overstuffed furniture, upholstered with familiar washed denim; perhaps it is that which truly defines the atmosphere & is best described as 'comfy as your favorite old blue jeans, yet bright, shiny & new'. There's an open dining area with seating for up to 8 persons & a fully equipped island kitchen. The game room downstairs has a regulation-sized air-hockey table, electronic dartboard & assorted games for all ages. Located off the game room, there’s a 2nd queen sized bedroom, while just down the hall, there's 3rd full bath & 4th Bedroom, outfitted with twin beds.
Location, Convenience & Privacy!:
The floor plan is laid out in such a way as to allow ample open space to encourage time spent together in an open atmosphere, yet provide all the privacy couples & individuals need to themselves. Did we mention the GREAT sunsets? What a perfect way to end the perfect day! Relaxing on the porch in comfy, cushioned resin/wicker rockers, watching the sun go down and imprinting memories of great times spent together. Guests who have stayed here before have told us that there is something 'special' about the place that just seems to lift their spirits and lower their stress levels almost immediately after checking in. Now we can't guarantee that will happen for everyone, but we feel certain that you won't leave here stressed. Guests who have stayed here have also suggested that we be sure to mention the 'beautiful sunsets' but don't take their word for it . . . come see for yourself!
