Ohana Retreat is the perfect spot for a large family to enjoy the beauty of Hawaii. We offer an immaculate island-style home with spacious bedroom suites. Each with private bath, wet bar, refrigerator and private deck. Enjoy indoor/outdoor living with large decks and rooms for group gatherings plus private spaces for quiet times. Our immense home is nestled amid acres of tropical gardens laden with an abundance of exotic fruits, Kona Coffee and flowers. Guests are welcome to stroll through the lush grounds and pick our wide array of fruits and flowers. Plants are labeled. Relax at our garden gazebo and browse through our booklet that details all the unique fruits we grow. See how we process our cacao into dark chocolate. Roast some of our own Kona Coffee. We have pool, tennis court and a full array of amenities and recreation gear. Walk to beach. We comfortably accommodate 16 people and have options for larger families.

Beautiful!

All we can say is "WOW!" We just had the pleasure of returning from Hawaii a week ago, and I can not say enough about the Kona plantation (Ohana Retreat). It is so beautiful all around. The house was immaculate when we arrived and we were welcomed by Randell who showed us around the grounds with a fantastic tour. He is full of information! I was fortunate enough to have my wedding here and it was more than I could ever have imagined. Everything was perfect, especially having all the gear and equipment accessible to us during our stay, the lush tropical feel of all the plants and palms and having the beach so close. It is the best of both worlds! We are planning a trip back to Kona solely so that we can enjoy another week in the house! Thanks again Carolyn and Randell!

An Amazing Place

We went searching for the perfect place to hold our daughter's wedding and we found it, when we found the Ohana Retreat. It has everything that we wanted to have for the wedding. A huge home that friends and family could enjoy for the week. The house was in great condition and very clean. A private and beautiful estate, with loads of trees and plants to pick fresh fruit from. Our own private swimming pool and tennis court. There is a garage full of anything and everything that you might need on your Hawaiian vacation;bikes, snorkel gear, mats, beach toys, boogie boards and more! It was paradise! The owners were very kind to allow us to use the Ohana Retreat for not only the wedding, but for a Welcome Party and the Loco Moco Breakfast the day after the wedding. There were no huge "wedding charge" or extra cleaning fee when we rented the Ohana Retreat for the week. There is a noise cut off time of 10 pm, but we were fine with that. We just started the wedding early. We were allowed the freedom to enjoy this beautiful estate, as we pleased, The grounds are very well kept and Randel, the caretaker and his crew made sure that everything was perfect for the wedding. They cleaned up everything, helped with the lighting, moved things around for us and more. They were great! The wedding was indeed, perfect! Do not hesitate to rent this amazing place, you will not be sorry. We are hoping to go back in the very near future.

Great family gathering spot

Grandparents, parents, children, relatives and friends--we all had a wonderful time. I especially enjoyed the demonstration of chocolate making by the owner, followed by a bag of chocolates for us to share. The avocados were like butter and mangos--all delicious. The bird watchers were up at dawn and renamed the street Cardinal Way for the three varieties in abundance. The saffron finches were beautiful. I would and did recommend this spot to a friend. We took our grandsons on the Atlantis submarine--a great experience. Plenty to see and do.
