Great hotel alternative with luxury: Our place is within short distance to the theater district, shopping at the world-class Yorkdale Shopping Mall, the subway and numerous streetcar lines. Toronto has maintained its interesting, vibrant downtown neighborhoods and the numerous 24 hour transit lines near us provide easy, safe access. The Air Canada hockey arena, Ryerson University, the bustle of Yonge Street (Toronto's main street), Yorkville, St. Lawrence Market, The University of Toronto, Kensington Market, the financial district, Royal Ontario Museum, Art Gallery of Ontario, Casa Loma, CN Tower, Sky Dome, Ontario Place, Chinatown, Little Italy, Greek town and so much more are all near our oasis in the middle of a bustling, exciting city.

Small but perfectly formed

This was a nice, clean apartment that contained everything you could need. No complaints over the facilities or the apartment in general.

The only problem was that it was rather small and not really suitable for more than four people- there was only a double bed a twin room. There was also only a sofa suitable for three in the lounge area to sit confortably.

Comfortable & affordable accommodations in Toronto

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at Sabrina's Place. The apartment was exactly like the pictures on the website. It was small, but just enough space for two adults and one child. I would not call it "luxury" as it was listed on this website. It was convenient to get to the downtown area from the apartment. There is free parking right next to the apartment. If you didn't want to drive, the bus stops right in front of the building. The innkeepers were very pleasant, attentive and informative about Toronto. We had some technical issues with the cable tv and the wireless internet, which was disappointing, but the innkeepers tried their best to fix the problem. The apartment was clean for the most part; the kitchen could have used more attention to detail (i.e. the refrigerator had food from the last guests left in it, the dishes were not cleaned well) The bathroom was spotless! I would recommend this property to people who are not concerned about luxurious accommodations and who like the freedom of being able to prepare their own meals while on vacation. The best part of Sabrina's Place was the customer service that was provided. They were always available if we needed them.

Teresa & her husband were fantastic. They're easy people, and helpful in every way.

Two couples - one 6 months pregnant - traveled.

The condo is exactly as described, its' location is ideal, off-street and free parking was available, and the rent is can I say it - cheap! You can get downtown in 15 minutes by public transportation(located at the doorstep) or to the highway for the zoo & other attractions without a hassle.

There are a number of yummy takeout food choices in the area along with a terrific bakery located just down the street. I'd suggest getting chicken from Churrasqueira Costa Verde just south of Rogers on Oakwood or Albert's Real Jamaican on Vaughn & St. Clair W. Costa Verde is a stroll away & Albert's is accessible by bus or car.

Groceries, including a Whole Foods & a Wal-Mart is a hop skip and a jump in the car.

The only things holding it back from a 5 for us was the slightly hard beds & a lack of pillow choice. All of the pillows were of the super fluffy variety.

For people going soon be aware of a tremendous amount of construction on St. Clair which is more of an incovenience than a real problem as there are a number of detours around the construction.

I stayed here in November '08. It was so comfortable. Sabrina and her husband were so accomodating. I would recommend it to anyone!
