But if you are looking for an amazing and uncontaminated corner of tropical paradise, in the bay of the 5th most beautiful beach in the world (Rincon Beach), far from the civilized world, but 2 steps from a beach paradise all to yourself, reachable by a Jeep or a boat…then this is the right place for you!

This Villa is located in a complex called 'Colorado Project' at Playa Colorado. At its left side starts the Beach of Rincon, very well mentioned in all the guides where you can read something about. Playa Colorado is located at only 18 kilometers from Las Galeras village, but the only way of communication is a dirty road into a very bad condition, and it takes at minimum 30 minutes to run it.

Villa Flury is the right choice and photos on the advertiser website are very well representative. The villa is very functional and comfortable. It offers a magnificent view on coco trees, beaches and the see. The Dominicans that we met at the villa (to clean the swimming pool, the house, to prepare delicious typical Dominican food, and the fishermen) and elsewhere are very nice people. Also, the agents Sarah and Yocasty are very friendly and welcomed us very well. They arranged trips and other as we need. Villa flury is gorgeous and the playa colorado is a beautiful private beach, we saw four people there on the beach in 5 days. If we didn't walk down the hill to the beach, the pool has the full view of rincon bay. We used all the amenities and bbq and whatever was lacking was attended to by yocasty, who was always available, speaks english, italian and a bit of french and actually did more than was necessary insofar as arranging for water taxi's, ATV rentals and restaurants. We just arrived back and we miss being there alot.

Be advised to be flexible at this location, the road requires a four wheel suv, cell phone service was negligable, and the nearest town, las galeras is about 30 minutes by SVU or water taxi and it is also a very small town. For me and my wife, that was exactly what we were looking for. There were two even smaller towns, tocones and rincon nearby and and we bought gasoline, fruits and the people are very sweet. We went to all the beaches around and each was beautiful but ultimately we really didn't have to, playa colorado is terrific.
Next time I will make all the financial arrangements before going, you might prefer caution, but you have to bring a fair amount of cash to pay for the rental otherwise. You can't just pay by visa there and that ended up being a small problem because the is also no cash machine anywhere nearby.
But there is always a solution dominican style to everything, the very nice man who took care of us at the house, cleaned the pool and brought us fresh coconuts followed us back on his motorcycle to semana, a 1 hour drive so that we could pay at the end of the trip.

Perfect balance of luxury and rustic

We really enjoyed our weekend at Villa Flurry. The staff was great and helpful and we had a nice hike to the amazing Playa Rincon beach, where we got lunch before returning for a dip in the pool. It is certainly off the beaten track, but the house is far from rustic. I sincerely recommend this house or any other in the Bahia Colorado complex.

The on-line pictures don't do this house justice! The setting is spectacular and the house is spacious, beautiful and well maintained. The pool and surrounding gardens are amazing. The staff (Luisa and Viejo) was wonderful, friendly and professional. Sarah and Yocasty were always available to help answer any questions and make our stay even better.
It is hard to get here, but that is what makes it great! It is peaceful and quiet and we had two private beaches to choose from. Just make sure to bring plenty of groceries and supplies with you. It is a long drive to the nearest town and even there supplies are limited. We did our shopping in the city (Santiago) before we arrived.
We highly recommend this property and we would love to return!
