Basement game room complete with pool table, card table, and darts. Basement has full bath and laundry facilities also a refrigerator, and cable T.V. Hardwood floors on main level and fireplace in livingroom. Screened-in porch with a view of the bay for enjoying outside dining on teak wood table that seats six. Great place to stay.

We spent 2 great weeks at this beautiful home. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the beach which streches for miles and we had it almost to ourselves. The view from the house is great. The Bay can easily be seen from any of the three decks as well as from the living room, dining room and master bedroom. It comes complete with everything you could possibly need. You only have to bring your personal items. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. This by far is the best place we have stayed in the 18 years we have been visiting the area. We can't wait to return.

I debated rating our overall experience between a 5 and a 4. The ONLY complaint I have during our marvelous stay was the lack of comfortable seating inside the home for watching tv or even just reading when the weather was bad. There were not enough chairs/sofas in the main room for all of us to gather together and be comfortable. The outdoor accommodations on all the decks were wonderful and the views overlooking the bay from the house were spectacular as well. The owners were incredibly warm, kind and out of sight while the local house sitter for emergencies could be anyone's best friend. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet get away. We had a wonderful time.

Great relaxing vacation!

The home was perfect, clean, accomodating and very assessible to the beach. Just a short walk down the hill and you are on the beach. Restaurants were good and since the area has more year round residents than renters you did not wait long to get a table, you sat right away. Same with the beaches, most residents are working during the week and the beach is empty. Owner was extremely nice and provided excellent resources. Owner left a bottle of wine for us in the fridge, chocolates and juice boxes for the kids. Towels, beach chairs and sand toys all available for use. Paper products were provided and kitchen fully equiped with all necesary cooking items. Area attractions Solomons Island which is 15 minutes south of the house. Charming tourist town with good restaurants and a great Marine Museum the kids loved.
We can't wait to plan our next vacation back to the house!

Excellent rental for laid back vacation

The rental is in a wooded area, somewhat off the beaten path, with a nice view of the bay from the porch and master bedroom. Owner has provided many amenities that make the stay nice for various ages and interests. The property was clean, well maintained and not very old. The owners and neighbor are very nice and helpful. This is an excellent vacation rental for anyone looking for a laid back vacation that is off the beaten path and very close to the bay. The beach is clean and not crowded, nice place to walk and relax. Many small villages to explore by car. Many restaurants with very good local cusine. Being in a somewhat secuded area, be prepared to drive to various sites, restaurants, and attractions. Reasonable driving distance and time to Washington DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful vacation rental.
