What a beautiful beach outside your back door.

Our recent stay at the condo was a very positive experience. The best part about it was the beach just outside your back door. Every morning you can experience the sunrise with palm trees lining the shoreline which made for great photos. I had read about roosters waking you up real early but that was one of the best features, in my opinion. They got me up early so my day could be filled with more things to do. It was a comforting sound every morning instead of an annoyance.
The property was very clean and well maintained. The only complaint I have and it is a big one to me, is that it had ants. You couldn't leave anything out because they were everywhere, even in the bathroom. I didn't like to go barefoot since I would be picking up the little guys on my feet. So, the place should be fumigated for insects, including a couple of cockroaches. Also, I had asked for the pillow for my son but never heard back from the owner. It would have been nice to have a couple more available if there were more than two people in the unit.
I would say that they should have supplied the unit with extra pillows, dish towels for the kitchen, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels would have been nice. The towels that they did supply were getting worn and would 'sour' quickly due to past extended wetness so when you used them, the sour smell would emerge so you had to wash them often.
We found ourselves driving most of the days we were there towards the North Shore. There is snorkeling at Shark's Cove, Turtle Bay, and our own beach at the condo. One of the days my son tried the sky diving facility on the North Shore and we all visited the Waimea Valley Botanical Gardens.
We visited the Crouching Lion restaurant and that was very good and we tried the shrimp from a North Shore truck which was good as well.
One day we took a drive to Honolulu and visited Waikiki Beach. It was wonderful (except to find parking) so after that, we were even more pleased with our own secluded and just about deserted beach right outside our back door.
It was a wonderful condo and looks like one of the nicest at Pat's. I would return to it in the future and recommend it to anyone who would like to avoid the city and crowded beaches.
