This is a smartly furnished, but very comfortable and welcoming ground-floor apartment, near the centre of Moraira Town, and very near to two Beaches and the Marina with its myriad bars and restaurants. It has an American kitchen, good-sized sitting and dining areas, double bedroom with built-in wardrobe and another bedroom sleeping one or two - this room too has a built-in wardrobe. The very comfortable Sofa bed in the living room converts quickly and easily into a double bed. There is also a shower room and private terrace accessed by both living area and main bedroom. There is a shared roof-top pool (with shallow area) and tree shaded gardens to the front of the apartments. Supermarkets, smaller shops, banks and wonderful places to eat are all within a few minutes walk. Central Moraira has real Spanish charm & a warm welcome for visitors. Secure underground parking. Moraira is situated on the Costa Blanca, an hour's drive from both Alicante and Valencia airports, between the larger centres of Javea and Calpe.     Our prices include reasonable use of utilities and all linen, excluding beach towels, but these are available to hire and may well save you expensive airline baggage charges.

    Tranfers to and from the airport can be arranged should you not wish to hire a car.

  • A 25% deposit is required to secure your holiday reservation, with the balance remaining plus an additional £150 refundable security deposit to cover damage and excessive cleaning payable in full 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date. Security deposits are paid in just before departure and returned promptly if all is well. Please arrange your own holiday insurance. Normal vacating time is 10.00 a.m. with access to the apartment being after 4 p.m. on arrival day, though we try to be flexible wherever possible.
  • WINTER LETS: The apartment has an Air con/Warm Air Heating facility in the main area, together with a heater in the shower room and portable heating/cooling fans, so it is warm and comfortable in Winter, and its South facing aspect makes the most of the sun. Unlike some seaside towns, most of Moraira and nearby Javea's bars and restaurants remain open all year round to welcome the visitors who enjoy the temperate climate of the Costa Blanca. Winter in this area is generally sunny and pleasant. There are a few days where the rain falls, helping to keep the countryside green and fertile, but there are also days where, despite the calendar, you may well be able to get those shorts out and even go for a swim. The apartment has been equipped with everything you'll need for a long stay.

Each room has a large wardrobe cupboard. Half-glazed double doors lead from sunny Living Area into Bedroom 2, which stays cooler in hot weather (and is also very secure) since it has no outside wall. A cot is available. The double sofabed in the Sitting Area was carefully chosen for easy operation and has its own compartment for bedding.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS: If you don't want to drive you can book seats on a mini-bus to and from the airport to the centre of Moraira. They have a desk in the arrivals hall at the airport. The drop off in Moraira is a couple of hundred metres from the apartment - I'll give you directions. The cost is €40 return. Google: 'Beni Connect Transfers'. For your return journey they will collate your booking with other pick-ups along the coast, so you’ll need to check (by phone) the day before the return journey to confirm the exact pick-up time. The vehicles are modern and clean and the service is good.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: There is a long, but slender terrace accessed by both bedroom and living room, and from here you can sit in the cool of the evening - either watching the world go by on its way into Moraira or looking across to the villa-dotted hills in the near-distance. There is also a large shared pool, with shallow section, on the roof terrace (open May - Sept) with views to the sea and the Rock Ifach near Calpe. There is a shady garden to the front of the apartments and a small children's fun-fair is within walking distance. There is an air-conditioning unit which can also be used for heating during cooler weather and, for shade in Summer there are awnings on the terrace and roll-down blinds on the windows, together with mosquito netting. The window blinds also give added security, and there is a telephone operated system which is connected to the main door of the block so that callers can be screened.

RESORT AREA: Moraira's green countryside is dotted with beautiful individual white-washed villas with some low-rise Spanish-style apartments. Shady pine woods, citrus groves and vine terracing make a pretty and relaxing setting for those wanting a holiday away from the package tour crowds, although there is plenty of life and movement in and around the Town, and visitors are made to feel very welcome. There are 2 safe, sandy beaches with beach-bars, and numerous little rocky coves up and down the coast. The town has grown from a small fishing village into an attractive holiday resort which retains its local charm . . . and its fish - if you like fish you will love Moraira! There is an abundance of restaurants, bars and smart little shops which crowd around the harbour-side and popular marina, not to mention some very friendly Tapas Bars, and all of this is within just a few minutes walk from the apartment, so no need for a car if you prefer to take a taxi, and we can arrange this for you too.

LATE ARRIVALS: If you are arriving late we can arrange a 'Welcome Pack' to be awaiting you consisitng of bread, butter, marmalade, tea / coffee, milk, sugar, orange juice, beer, wine, coke, mineral water, eggs and bacon.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: The beautiful 9-hole Moraira golf-course with poolside bar/restaurant and magical views down to the sea is open to non-members and is within a few minutes drive, with the popular 18-hole course at Jesus Pobre and the 9-hole course at Javea about 15 minutes away by car. Nearby are tennis courts, squash, water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding and go-kart racing. A little further away are the coastal resorts of Javea (15 mins. by car) with its beautiful sandy horse-shoe bay bordered by beach bars and restaurants, Denia with its long, sandy beach and pretty Calpe in the other direction. The local wine-making area of the Jalon valley, surrounded by mountains is also about 20 mins. drive away, and from here you can venture further into the spectacular mountain scenery - perfect for those who enjoy walking, cycling or climbing. Moraira is only 45 minutes drive from the livelier Benidorm which is close to Terra Mitica (a Disney style theme park) and Aqualandia Water Park

There are several golf courses in the surrounding area. The nearest is Irach Golf, which is just a 5 minute drive from the apartment. TYhere are coiurses at Jesus Pobre, Altea and Javea too
