Waipouli holiday condo

After my long study of places to stay we decided of this one... WE WERE SO RIGHT!!! the condo is just as beatiful as you can see it in the pictures, the kitchen amazing, the beds incredible (for once we didnt miss our bed at home), the view was pretty good (not directly to the beach but lateral) you could see the sunrise AMAZING the view to the mountains is really good (king kong profile from a town a couple miles up north) and of course the pool, children spa & adults spa just increible... The best place, seriously, in the island we could´ve stayed, we felt in the middle of our small daily trips. A great surprise also that Carolyn has a booster child seat and a Crib (the portable one) and I didnt know so I took mine all the way from home... so if you have a baby dont take it from home, you could use that one and travel a little lighter...
We recommend also Kountry Kitchen (have to wait 20min for the table) all the omelets excellent and the pancakes with bananas good, but not as good as the ones at Egberts skip eggs go directly to the pancakes... very very very good, banana with macadamia... also there is a bakery at the mall (where macys is) go early ask for the appleturnovers... wow, there is also a pizza place at Hanalei Bay (meat pizza with pork) really great also.
Find out where are the farmers market... the fruit is excellent... and one of them have a berrys ice cream with granola topped with banana... I´m pretty sure you will one to buy more... everything fresh and natural (not sure if that one was organic...)
We stayed there 8nights (were supposed to be 9 but had problems with the planes so we lost 24 precious hours at Kauai...) obviously is not enough for that beautiful place on earth... but you could manage a great vacations with a little more than just one week.

We really recommend this property, CL tks for everything really you have an amazing condo, we just love it, you had all we really need to use the kitchen, laundry, towels, the TV is amazing (I dont know what other word to use, I´ve used it so many times but everything is amazing) we didnt miss our TV at home.
We also recommend to buy in advanced the book "The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook Kauai Revealed" there are so many tips that is (we think) much better than lonely planet (we bought both) and read it, take advantage of all the things they recommend to make your vacations UNFORGETTABLE. ALOHA!!!

The condo was everything we had expected and more. Wish we could have stayed longer. Absolutely beautiful condo and site. I have already forwarded pictures of this condo to friends and relatives. It had a partial ocean view which was still beautiful. The condo itself made up for the partial view. Nice pool/lazy river area with slide. Used fitness room also. Beach not good for swimming but didn't matter because the island itself has so many beautiful beaches to visit. Enjoyed our Na Pali coast boat tour with Blue Dolphin charters. Recommend this tour because has largest boat which makes ride easier on rough waters. Excellent crew and good food. Enjoyed Smith Family Luau. Rented kayaks on our own which we enjoyed but would not use Kauai Kayak Tours again because of horrible customer service. Received great information from Boss Frog's Dive and Surf shop near the condo. Safeway conveniently located across street. Also shopped at Costco near airport. Good breakfast at Kountry Kitchen and Eggberts. Good and reasonably priced dinners at Duke's on Marriott property just past airport. If hiking, wear shoes you don't mind getting soiled with red dirt. So much to do and see on this trip that we are looking forward to another trip. Book zipline tours early, since those tend to fill up fast. Were not able to squeeze that in. This review is long overdue but we wanted to express how much we enjoyed our stay at your lovely condo. The condo is immaculate as is the resort.
