Our privately owned condo is located in sunny Kihei at the Maui Sunset. With the traditional charm and grace of old Hawaii, the Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront, with immaculately maintained grounds, including a 60 foot freshwater pool, jacuzzi, BBQ areas, exercise room, shuffleboard, tennis and putting greens. The unit is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure. We provide linens for 4, free Internet wi-fi access, and the kitchen comes fully equipped. A starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, dish soap and dishwasher soap is included. Beach towels, cooler, hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also available for your use. The Maui Sunset is conveniently located, with dining, supermarkets and convenience stores just minutes away. Within 5 miles, there are 3 championship 18 hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena, as well as public golf courses, all with incredible vistas.

Additional information about rental rates

  • $75 cleaning charge for stays of less than 7 nights.
  • Rates are in $US and subject to change without notice. Additional discounts considered for long term rentals.

    Policies: Check in after 3:00 PM. Check out by 10:00 AM. Rates are based on 1 to 4-person occupancy. No pets or smoking allowed. Please remove shoes prior to entry.
  • Deposit/Payment: We require a 20% U.S. deposit to book the unit. The unit will be reserved for you when we receive the deposit. The remaining balance is due in full 45 days prior to arrival.

    Refunds: All canceled reservations will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. A full refund (less the $50 cancellation fee) will be granted if cancellation is made within 45 days of arrival. 50% will be refunded if canceled 30-45 days prior to arrival. There will be no refunds if canceled 30 days or less prior to arrival.
    There will be no refund for cancellations made after November 1st of bookings between December 15th and January 1st.

We stayed at this specific unit prior to our wedding and during our honeymoon and it was blissful. Caroline, the owner, was very gracious and for everything we needed or had questions about, she was happy to help! She even provides a lot of information such as grocery stores, activities to do, places to see, and restaurants in the area. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a basket full of goodies from her and the place was well-kept. There are two A/C's but you don't really need to use it much because the weather is consistently nice with the trade winds especially blowing in the afternoon. The location of the condo is nice and you can take pictures of the beach and mountain and I'm sure if we came here during whale season, we would've captured it. The beach is right at your backyard and is good for a romantic sunset stroll. The landscaping is very green and well-maintained and I've seen several kids along the pool side but it's such a quiet place! We drove by the other condos we were looking at and we are so happy to have found this one. God willing that we come back to Maui, we are not looking for a different place to stay because we found a VERY hospitable owner and an excellent place to stay. We hope to enjoy this condo again someday if we haven't already bought a house in Hawaii by that time:)
