Beautiful Playa Casa Long Beach is a sun light filled happy home. One hour drive from Chicago's loop, one of the best white sandy beaches on the great Michiana Shore. The vaulted ceiling, sun filled great room offers many huge windows for the lakeview and elegant comfort. One big open space, a gourmet kitchen, dining room, great room and den area is very social friendly. Three(3) out door decks for dining. The front deck invites you for morning coffee or a blazing sunset, often with the Chicago skyline in sight. The master suite offers parents an opulent, private place to enjoy the lakeview and the soothing sound of the waves. The lower level game room has a Ping-Pong, Foosball table, TV and Fireplace, and also has a great lakeview. The area attractions are Indiana State Dunes, Blue Chip Casino, Outlet Mall, Washington Park & Zoo, Yacht Club and Golf Courses. Feeling lucky? The Blue Chip Casino is a ten-minute drive. Great dining options locally and in New Buffalo, Union Pier, Michigan which is a quick 15 minute drive. Feeling adventurous? There is a skate park just five minutes away, Jet Ski rental at Washington Park beach and fishing charters by the score. If you like your adventure on foot, try the many trails and beautiful grounds at the Indiana Dunes Lakeshore State Park. The local golf course is a few hundred YARDS away.

Golf: The 18-hole 'Long Beach' course at the Long Beach Country Club facility in Long Beach, Indiana features 6,542 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. It really is as wonderful as it looks in the pics!

This is our 3rd year renting this terrific beach house -
we love everything about it. . . It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious, and is equipped with everything you could need or want. It is a very easy house to entertain lots of friends in, but cozy enough to enjoy with just the family. The views from the house and front deck are great. The beach is right across the street and the private deck with grill is a wonderful place to eat and watch the sun set. The beach is gorgeous and quiet. If you can bring yourself to leave this perfect beach, there are lots of things to do in the area - blueberry picking, golf, antiquing in SW Michigan, 18 screen movie theater in town, casino, tennis, zoo, outlet mall, along with fun and varied restaurants. My family and I give this vacation home, and the Michigan City area, our highest recommendation!

Very clean and well kept

Such a beautiful home...I walked in and was immediately impressed...then I walked upstairs to the main floor and kitchen...AWESOME! Updated kitchen with everything you need to cook any meal you want. Very well kept & extremly clean! The only problem we had was that the 4th bedroom was not really a "bedroom"....we have a 7 yr old and he slept down there. It is on the bottom floor and there is no door to the "bedroom"...it is right at the end of the stairs that lead upstairs. So when it was bedtime for him, but not the adults, he could hear everything we were saying. All in all though we had an amazing time and I highly recommend this house! I would go back there time and time again!!!! Mia was also extremley easy to talk to and very friendly! Oh yeah, Panini Panini (a small sandwich shop) was DELICIOUS!! We ate lunch there and had to go back the next day because it was so good!!!

Beautiful home/beach/sunset

My family has been here several times now, only a few days at a time, but could certainly be comfortable on a longer vacation also..truely an awesome sunset. Modern and updated and super clean...private deck on the beach is great to picnic on..and we like to cook(nice grocery is close), so the kitchen and outdoor grills are a real plus... the foosball and ping pong are great to have for the kids. Highly recommended from our point of view. The zoo in Michigan City is fun and only a short drive away, our daughter loved it. Fun place to relax.

Wonderful Vacation Spot

We spent our 4th of July weekend at this house and it was absolutely perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything better. It had everything we needed, it was steps to the beach, and we even had the 4th of July parade pass by right in front of the house. Not to mention that we could see the fireworks from both sides of the house. It's the perfect house for a beach getaway. We look forward to staying there again!

I would recommend this house time and time again.

Did not appreciate how great a beach there was, so close to the city. Beautiful, quiet beach, great house with all the amenities. Short drive to reach movies, restaurants, shopping, water park, horse riding, Indiana Dunes. Just a great place to come and stay for a week or two and forget the outside world.
