This seaside beach cottage is located in the heart of Narragansett. Available this summer and for the 2008-2009 school year! It's centrally located and a close drive to: - the best beaches in RI (Narragansett Town Beach, Roger Wheeler State Beach, East Matunuck State Beach) - the University of Rhode Island - great restaurants, especially for lobster, clam cakes and chowder! - shopping in Wakefield and Peace Dale - the Block Island Ferry (and 20 minutes to the Martha's Vineyard Ferry) and the fishing port of Galilee - Narragansett Pier and the 'sea wall' - AdventureLand Amusements (go-carting, mini-golf, bumper boats, batting cages) - Newport, Jamestown, Charlestown and Watch Hill - Foxwoods and Moheghan Sun casinos - Capital city of Providence with historic Federal Hill, College Hill and tons of great dining and shopping choices - Pawtucket Red Sox and McCoy Stadium (Triple AAA baseball; Boston Red Sox farm team)

Beach cottage is located within 10 minutes of the Block Island ferry, restaurants, shopping, deep sea fishing charters or day sailing. Historic Newport and Watch Hill are 25 minutes by car. In Galilee, which is a five minute drive from the cottage, you can buy fresh lobsters from the area's fishermen! Adventureland, which includes go-karts, bumper boats, mini-golf and batting cages, is two miles from the house. Movie theaters, a bowling alley, museums and indoor roller skating are within 10 minutes for those occasional rainy days. The cottage is 1/2 mile from Scarborough State Beach, accessible via a walking path. Less than two miles away is Roger Wheeler State Beach (also known as Sand Hill Cove) where the waves are gentle for smaller children and has a playground on the beach and nature/craft/story hour -- available to all beach patrons. Narragansett Town Beach, a five minute drive, is the place you can watch/join the surfers and enjoy the Narragansett Pier area.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Summer reservation Info: A signed rental agreement and 50 percent deposit required at reservation. The final 50 percent plus the refundable damage/security deposit is due 30 days prior to occupancy. Security deposit is refunded within 14 days provided the house is left clean and without damage.

    Renters must leave house as when they arrived. Optional cleaning service available. Please ask for details.

    Reservations made within 30 days of stay require payment in full.

    School year rentals require a signed nine-month lease. Rent is collected by semester. Fall Semester rent is due August 1, 2008 and Spring Semester rent is due December 1, 2008. One month's damage/security deposit is due upon lease signing.

Ideal location for walking to beach, bike riding and roller-blading inside the neighborhood. Tennis courts, basketball courts and children's playground are available to all Eastward Look residents and guests/renters.
