Oceanfront Condo - As Kona residents, living about ten minutes from our property. Our aim is to share ALOHA. This is your opportunity to Experience Tropical Paradise, spectacular sunsets year round, spouting whales in winter, and frolicking dolphins. This secluded and prestigious 18 acre Resort is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Keauhou Bay, and world class golf courses, and only minutes to the best snorkeling on the Big Island. Two lighted tennis courts and three pools with spas are convenient for your enjoyment. A 24 hour gated security provides privacy and tranquility. Unobstructed views abound from this spacious 1700 square foot unit, complete with lanai wet bar; large master suite with king-size bed, double showers, and private Jacuzzi spa for two. Second bedroom has two extra-long twin beds, which can be made into a king; queen-size sleeper in living room; in-unit washer and dryer, ceiling fans, ceramic tile floors in entry, kitchen & lanai.

Unit #1802 - Kanaloa at Kona is wonderful. We had a great 9 day stay there, December 2008. It is furnished with top quality amenities throughout, and the owners seemed to think of everything guests would need or want. The items in the kitchen are very clean and much nicer than one would expect to find in a rental unit. But the view from the lanai is the clincher - couldn't be better. Only feet away from the crashing waves, we heard the wonderful sound all night as we slept peacefully. We had breakfast and lunch daily on the lanai and spent many hours just watching the ocean. We highly recommend this unit!

We truly enjoyed our 9 nights at this condo. It is in a beautiful location and is very clean and quiet. It also has everything you need, other than your swimsuit and shorts, to have a great time. We were pleasantly surprised by the "outing" items they had available for us to use; from small ice chests, folding chairs and beach mats, to flashlights for lava tube exploring. The owner's have put together a great information book of their own and had several Big Island books we really enjoyed reading that helped us decide what we wanted to do and where we should go. The guide book they have gone through and added tabs and highlighting was especially helpful. The kitchen is very well set up with all equipment needed to cook and serve a wonderful meal to enjoy on the lanai. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We also liked having an attended gate at the entrance. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood so it wasn't from fear that we liked it. It was just nice to know that anyone who was around was actually supposed to be there, so we left things in the car we would not have normally. When you stop at the gate upon arrival, they issue you a parking pass. From then on, the attendant sees the pass on your mirror and opens the gate as you approach. The market in the shopping center just up the hill is also very convenient and well stocked for a small store. We had planned to go to Costco for major shopping but never made it. We are looking forward to our next trip back!

Dear Janice and Bruce,

Thank you so much for renting your wonderful
condo to us. We've read all the great comments
about it on this site, but it still surpassed our
expectation. Sitting on the Lanai watching sunset
and having the surf come up almost all the way up
to the Lanai (so much so that we will occasionally
feel a few drops land right on us) was as tranquil as
it gets. We also really appreciated all the wonderful
advice you've given us on things to do, places to
visit, tips on doing all of that with small kids.
You've helped make this trip so memorable for us!
Next time we plan a trip to the Big Island, there is
no question on who we will contact first! Thank you
again!

Bruce and Janice were very accommodating to all of are needs. The condo was simply amazing. The view was beyond words. " JUST BEAUTIFUL".
Everything was at our fingertips. The sunsets were amazing and so beautiful. Shopping and fine dining was just a short drive away. The staff at rhe resort were so helpful. One big plus for me was
NO NOISE. A person could sit out all evening and be in absolute peace and quiet. I would return next week if possible. Hope to return soon. Thanks again Bruce and Janice for everything. This was one of the best places my family has ever had the pleasure of staying at. Hats off to you both for providing such a wonderful place we could call home for a great week.

This is a beautifully decorated air conditioned condo. The newly remodeled deck is lovely. The property has all items available which are needed for comfortable living.
We have stayed there many times and will return again. Enjoy!
