Located 10 minutes from the village of Ganges, the 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath high-end cottage can accommodate up to eight visitors and is located on a private 10-acre estate with large pond and westerly ocean views. The house has its own gated entrance and is completely deer-fenced, completely safe for your family pet. One of the Best Holidays Ever!

We had one of the best holdays ever at Willowsend. The cottage is beautifully constructed and just plain beautiful. Gorgeous pastoral setting with everything you could want in the way of conveniences. Very pet friendly. Their two dogs were not a problem at all. Yes, they came over to say hello to our dog, but no problems at all. The owners are very friendly, delightful people and went out of their way to ensure our holiday was wonderful in every way. Highly recommended!

Myself and five girlfriends stayed at the cottage for 3 nights in September and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The cottage was everything advertised and more. I would highly recommend the cottage to anyone looking for an idyllic spot to relax. The yard was beautifully landscaped and the dogs were in their own space. As a longtime homeowner and landlord I would not allow pets into a vacation rental as perfect as Willowsend Cottage. A 5***** experience!

Best Vacation Ever

Willowsend was a relaxing paradise. I was amazed at how beautiful the interior and exterior of this cottage were. You can tell that there is a lot of pride in ownership. I was traveling with my husband and another couple and their 3yr old son. We thoroughly enjoyed the grounds and how close we were to the water. It was so nice at night to use the fire pit outside. I really can't say enough about this place and how at home we felt. The owners were very friendly, but definitely gave us our privacy. I would stay at Willowsend in a heart beat and I have already told all of my friends and family about it.

Pets Beware, Unnecessary cleaning fees

We stayed at this cottage for one week with 2 small dogs and 1 medium dog. The owner's have 2 large rottweilers that bark and growl at the fence when other dogs are present (like your own). During our stay, the owner's dogs unlocked the fence and attacked our dog causing several cuts on the back. Human interference had to occur to get the dogs to let go. After this incident, the owner's still had the the nerve to charge extra cleaning fees for pet hair and stove splatter. Not sure why the cleaning fees and pet fees paid upfront are even charged when additional fees will follow after your departure. No cleaning products or brooms were avaliable in the house to even help clean it. Very dissappointed.
Owner's Response: Pets are safe and welcome at Willowsend Cottage. But please, if you are bringing your pet, tell us the truth about how many pets you would like to bring. Don't tell us you have one one dog and then show up with 3 dogs and a cat. When we ask you to keep our gates closed, please honor our wishes. Our dogs do not know how to unlatch gates. Only our guests can do that. And please don't assume that your dog and ours will automatically get along together. Our dogs are not vicious, they are family dogs with many other doggie friends. But dogs are like people, they don't all like each other. That's why the cottage is completely enclosed and we ask you to limit yourselves to the cottage property.

The cottage is equipped with a vaccum, brooms and all other cleaning equipment necessary in a closet just outside the back door. But if all the slip covers need to be washed because of dirt and hair left by your pet, there will be an extra cleaning fee as outlined in the contract you signed. But don't worry. Of all the guests who have come and stayed with their pets, we have only charged one with an additional cleaning fee. And it was deserved.
