Located on Pine lake, a large spring fed lake with great fishing and water sports. Large beach, 60' pier with pontoon boat provided. Home has heat, A/C, fireplace, brand new, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and loads of privacy. Close to Waupaca & King but W/out the crowds of the Chain of lakes. Many good restaurants nearby or cook out and enjoy a sunset cruise on the lake go antiquing in the many nearby small towns or visit the states largest flea market in Princeton. Plenty of nature trails natural beauty to enjoy. Have a bonfire on the beach at sunset and enjoy the relaxation that an old fashioned Wisconsin Vacation provides. Less than a tank-full of gas from metro Chicago & 90 miles from Milwaukee this is an affordable way for a family to spend their vacation

There are activities in each season that spotlight the many ethnic groups that settled central Wisconsin. There are festivals celebrating farming, antique cars, the Four Seasons and of course sporting activities. Enjoy the best of both wolds! You can relax in the peaceful surroundings of Wisconsin's beautiful lakes while still dining at first rate restaurants or shopping at a variety of shops that offer something for the most discerning consumer. All this and your still only 90 minutes from Milwaukee or 2.5 hours from Chicago!

The area boasts 8 golf courses, many great Wisconsin style Supper Clubs, many antique shops and lots of one-of-a-kind local shops selling. Amish and other homemade crafts are also available at below market prices. Spring and Fall offer wonderful weather for nature walks. The area is the White-tailed deer capitol of the USA and hunting is very popular in November.

A Vacation like when I was a kid

This is a great little place to vacation
It took me back to family vacations when I was young
Comfortable accommodations, great lake and lots of nature
I actually saw an Eagle fly over the lake
The fishing was great and we got to ski a bit too
Manager "Bud" is a gem, he's so helpfull!
Can't wait for next year
Owner's Response: It's always gratifying to hear form satisfied guests who had a great vacation.
We were especially pleased that they got so much enjoyment out of the experiences communing with nature.
We feel this is one of our resorts most valuable assets.

Had a graet time!

We just had a great week at Pine lake
The family enjoyed the fishing and skied a bit
The cabin is small but very well laid out and we found it very convenient to use
The beds are comfy and bath had a laundry!
The place is very clean
The beach is big enough for voleyball and campfires
We really enjoyed the peace and quite, it's like your the only ones there
I recomend this place for family gatherings, it worked well for us

Lived up to it's billing

I was pleasantly surprised by this vacation
I read a review that was not favorable but found my experience to be quite diferent
the place was clean and comfortable and the lake is very nice
the location very peaceful
My family had a great time, even our teenager foud it fun
I'll be back next year

Pine Lake Lakefront House

The owner was difficult to reach and did not provide a phone number during our chain of e-mails, nor on the written contract. The owner also did not provide requested directions to the home.

When we arrived, all doors were locked. Thankfully, neighbors were relaxing on their deck and were able to give us directions to the owner's private home.

The rental home had not been cleaned before our arrival. There were cobwebs, spiders and mice feces everywhere - including in the beds- the freezer was full of mold, and the bottom of the under-cabinet microwave oven had over 1/4" of water in it.

The water was not working in the home, but after a phone call, the owner came over to turn it on. The next morning we discovered that the hot water did not work in the shower. As a concession for our many troubles, the owner allowed us to shower at his second rental home - where the hot water heater was not turned on - and did not charge us for gas for the pontoon boat.
