My family and i recently stayed at this location for 16 days and we did not appreciate all of the false advertisement that was on this site. The apartment did not have internet access like the description said and internet access was one of my main concerns because of my husband being away in Iraq but luckily i had a cell phone with slow internet service.
Also there was no cable. we were dissapointed but ok with the 2 channels on regular television until the switch to digital television happened a week before we had to leave. i asked if that was taken care of and the answer was yes the digital service was installed and it turned out that by midnight the teleision was blank so it was not changed. After purchasing 3 expensive DVDs to watch on the DVD player, there was no remote control for it so it was worthless.
The pool is cozy and the area is ok but if you need to eat during a weekday, don't count on eating in that area you are going to have to leave Boqueron to find food. If you love drinking and bars then you are in luck.
There was no activity guide or dining guide like the description says just 2 magazines from 2008. there is no daily maid service, and there were hostel style bunkbeds. there is no music library or any form of entertainment.
on a positive note, the person that greeted us and gave us the keys is fabulous very kind.
too bad that the apartments are not well equipped for an enjoyable vacation you will become very familiar with the walgreens because you will need to stock up on necesities with your own money.
overall i would not recomend it
Owner's Response: We always thank and appreciate our customer’s feedback. All our previous reviews and customers feedbacks have been excellent. Our offer is and will always be transparent, professional and focus in serving our customers the best way. I can guarantee that this unfortunate and isolated event can be summarized in communication. Let me explain in detail:
In this particular case, we have always notified that Wi-Fi internet access is available walking distance. Since we are starting in this business, we always explain (as we did in this case) that we are planning to install cable TV after we finish furnishing all our units. Therefore, we only have local TV at this moment. Unfortunately, we were never notified by the visitor of the TV issues, besides having it all planned (for Digital TV conversion), we also had converters spare that had not use it. In the event that was the case, and it was communicated to us, we would have taken immediate action as we did already as soon as we saw this unfortunate note. For your information there are not too many Local TV channels anyway (3 top TV channels)
In terms of activities, we always send a goggle map and all the places all our visitors could go in 7 minutes walking distance including restaurants, pubs and different activities. Unfortunately, we never received this question from the visitor, but we could have given them another copy immediately.
In terms of the activity guide, it was corrected immediately. We do have some activity guides for our visitors coming outside from PR. The daily maid service is available, but never requested or communicated by them. We had other customers that have requested (it has additional cost), and we have provided the service. In fact is the person that gave them the keys.
As mentioned, we value customer feedback and we will always encourage everyone to call us… we give four phone numbers in case they need to reach us. We are not perfect, but I can guarantee that we will do our best for you to have a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Check other customers feedback and feel free to call us or email us with any questions. This is a family business operated by my wife, mother and me… doing our best to seek customer satisfaction, which is our top priority!
