The location of this flat is superb. Minutes away is Portebello Market in Notting HIll Gate. The Notting Hill Gate Tube Station is less than 10 minutes walk. Down the street from your flat on Chepstow Road is the bus stop. The routes on this bus run are to Marble Arch, Oxford Street, Holland Park Avenue, High Street Kensington, St. Johns Wood, etc. The buses run every 5-6 minutes. Hyde Park is less than 10 minutes walk from the flat. The flat itself is lovely. It's in a period conversion building and is on the first floor. Included in the rental is a TV, DVD, CD player, computer with wireless high speed internet, phone and two mobile phones with London numbers. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and coffee machine. The master bedroom is large with a king size bed always made up with freshly ironed linens. The second bedroom has two single bed and the couch in the living room pulls out to sleep 2. This flat can accommodate 6 people easily.

Spring Break in London

My husband and I and our 2 children, age 21 and 16 stayed here in April and found flat to be very comfortable and clean. The location was great-lovely area, quiet, walking distance to Portobello Market. Bus and tube very accessable. Loved the Italian restaurant right across the street, and The Cow pub around the corner. Especially liked having food stocked in our flat- a service that was offered. However, extra toilet paper and laundry soap not included, so buy or bring your own. The owners were very welcoming and prompt with answers to e-mails. Only downfall was dealing with money exchange: rate, wire transfer from US bank, finalizing payments. That was a real test of patience-probably on both sides. Heads up: be certain you know entire fee before signing rental agreement. Aside from that, the entire stay was comfortable and very enjoyable with owners being more than accomodating.
