  • Damage to the Property
    The Guest agrees that the Party Leader remains responsible for all loss from the property or its inventory during the Rental Period. Further the Guest acknowledges and understands that Party Leader must notify the Owner of any damage that occurs during their stay immediately to avoid penalties. Where a Guest is found to have brought a pet to the property without prior written permission, a bill of $500 will be made to the Guest to compensate for additional cleaning requirements, which the Guest agrees to pay within 14 days.
    The Guest agrees that the Owner can charge additional fees to cover:
    * Early arrival or late departure charges * Non-return of keys - $250
  • * Loss or breakage of inventory items * Damage to the Property or its equipment
    Where loss or damage to the Property, the inventory, or equipment exceeds $500, the Owner will bill the Guest for the shortfall, and the Guest agrees to pay within 14 days. In the event that the Guest fails to pay any such shortfall, the Owner reserves the right to exercise any legal remedies to pursue the amount owed from the Guest. Where the Owner finds damage or loss to the Property following the Guests departure that, in the view of the Owner, constitutes malicious or wanton damage, the Owner reserves the right to notify law enforcement authorities and prosecute, in addition to billing the Guest for the full amount of repair or replacement, and the Guest agrees to pay within 14 days.

Cancellation The Guest may cancel their booking at any time up to or during the rental period. In the event that the Guest exercises their right to cancel, the Owner will levy the following cancellation penalty percentage rates of the Total Rental Fee: Up to 60 days prior to the arrival date 20% Between 59 - 31 days prior to the arrival date 50% Less than 30 days prior to the arrival date 100% The Owner regrets that it is unable to waive any of the cancellation charges above, whatever the circumstances. The Owner recommends that all guests take out adequate cancellation or vacation insurance either through their insurance broker or travel agent.

Pets are not permitted in the Property. The Owner of the Property cannot be held liable for any loss or injury to a pet while staying at the Property, or for any action taken by the pet or pet owner against third parties. In the event that the Guest brings a pet to the Property, the Owner will levy a charge of $100 per bedroom per week to the credit card of the Guest, to pay for additional sanitation and cleaning on the departure of the Guest and pet. Failure to pay the charge described above, or refusal, will result in the Guests eviction from the Property, and loss of all rental money paid.

I'll do it again

Even though I had family to stay with during my stay in Puerto Rico, I chose to rent this property to give my kids and I a chance to enjoy a "vacation-away-from-family-home" experience, if you know what I mean. This house is definitively better than an apartment or a townhouse, and I didn't even have to mow the lawn. I didn't even have to take the trash out, I made my kids take it out. Seriously, I didn't have to look around at other properties before deciding to rent this one because I know Migdalia and had read the reviews beforehand. I won't repeat what the previous 12 reviews have written here, but I share all of what was said, feelings and all. The house is definitely comfortable, well equipped and very cleaned. My kids loved the fact that it had air conditioning in the whole house and Direct TV. Once, they even tried to hijack my master bedroom because of the TV there, but I was able to keep them at bay by telling them that I was going to throw my old stinky shoes at them. Location is great, near the best beaches in Puerto Rico; supermarkets, and restaurants are just a short drive away. The house is located inside a walled/gated community, Mirador Del Sol. Being recently built; it is very quiet and secure. I felt very special and comfortable there, but made a daily effort to get out and enjoy the tropical life outside. I think that if you rent this house and say that you read my great review, Migdalia will give me a % off of the rate next time I rent it.....well, or maybe. There are a lot of characters remaining so I would recommend that you take this house under consideration next time you come to the island, and at the end, you too can get the chance to write a review like mine. It is so much fun....writing....writing....zzzzzzz. Anyway, you won't regret renting this house from Migdalia. She is just one step away, you would think that she doesn't work, sleep, or eat....but if you call or e-mail her, expect to hear from her almost instantly. It was an experience out of this world, almost scary (as in a good movie). I was so grateful to her that in return, I washed the sheets of all the beds so that the next person that rents the house can smell the flowery aroma left by me...(smile). I now have 230 characters left, and will have to say that now, back in the D.C. metro area, I can relive every great moment lived in this house with my kids. The experience was unique and I will always remember all those breakfast together at the table with my kids.

Perfect House in Cabo Rojo

Dear Migdalia,Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your house in Cabo Rojo. It was perfect!! We were very comfortable and happy. The house is very well equipped with everything needed to cook and relax while on vacation. My family from Ponce PR came for a reunion and loved the house as well. It is very close to beautiful Boqueron beach and Bahia Sucia another beautiful beach area that has breathtaking scenery. Walmart and Mayaguez are very close for easy shopping. The security guard at the gate was a sweetheart. She always was very friendly and helpful. Again, thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your house on vacation. I left some very helpful books and maps of Puerto Rico for whomever follows us in the house. Hasta la proxima! We will definately stay in Cabo Rojo again! Sue,Russ,Tamara,Benjamin,Eric and Cassandra from Michigan and family de Ponce PR!

The house is beautiful and comfortable. It is very clean and in a peaceful neighborhood. Everything is near - shopping, food, beaches, etc... The owner was very helpful and always available for any requests or concerns.
I definetly recommend this home to anyone. It's more comfortable and affordable than a hotel room. I'm even thinking of buying a home in this community. It's that good!!!!
