Fabulous family beach house

This is the perfect beach house for families who want to be steps away from the ocean, yet also have the benefit of a "private" life guarded beach. The home is comfortable, spacious and welcoming, with a large well-equipped kitchen. Lots of windows provide much natural lighting. The porches offer additional areas for relaxing and teenagers can enjoy their own space in the loft bedroom and lounge area or in the adjacent annex apartment with its own bathroom.

The house is located in a quiet, private community about 2 miles from downtown Bethany. The community has its own playground and tennis court.

The friendly owner provided excellent personalized service including recommendations of nearby restaurants and shopping. Everything about our stay was wonderful.

We highly recommend this family friendly beach property and hope to return to it in the near future!

Great Family Beach House

We stayed here the first week of August. The conveniences are endless. The screened-in porch was our "breakfast nook" and "happy hour" hangout. The kids LOVED the loft...and so did we, as they spent a lot of time up there playing. The kitchen was soooo well stocked and spacious enough for more than one cook to be in it at one time. The proximity to the beach was so convenient with the little ones, not to mention the lack of traffic. The location was great as it was an easy drive to the stores or downtown Bethany for supplies, but the beach was far enough away from the crowds to be relaxing. We would definitely recommend this little gem of a beach house!

Great beach getaway

Our family stayed here over the fourth of July week. It was truly a relaxing vacation. Despite being one of the busiest weeks of the summer, the beach was never crowded. The private beach is night and day difference compared to the public beaches. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very secure with the gated entry. Having a tennis court in the subdivision is a real plus. The house is spacious and very well maintained. We would definitely go back there again.
