Winter time activities -- :
World class downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, ice skating and sledding are just a few of the winter sports in Park City. In addition, snowmobiling and sleigh rides are close by. For the young at heart, experience the Alpine Coaster -- one of the few roller coasters in the snow. Or take a romantic sleigh ride to a wonderful dinner at one of the high mountain yurts.
Summertime in Park City --:
Hiking and biking out your door, rock climbing, golfing, world class fly fishing, hot air ballooning, and all types of water sports. 5 minutes away is the Olympic Park where you can learn to ski jump with the US Ski Team (and land is a pool of water), ride zip lines, bobsled rides or try the Olympic luge (at speeds up to 60 MPH). Enjoy golf? More than 5 exceptional golf courses close by. Park City is an outdoor enthusiasts heaven!!
Evening time and cultural events ---:
Fabulous restaurants throughout Park City; two of the nicest restaurants are located within walking distance. Or ride the Gondola to the top of the mountain for a wonderful meal and either hike back down or ride the gondola. Park City is home to the summer Art Festival (first weekend in August) and has many renown Art Galleries. In addition, summer time includes music concerts at both the Canyons (walk from the Townhouse) and Deer Valley Mt. Resort. Lots of shopping, including the Tangier Outlet Mall (within a 5 minute drive) and the farmers market in the Canyon's parking lot.
