Jet skiing, para sailing, snorkeling, canoeing, boating, fishing or just digging your toes in the sand - if water sports are your thing, this is the place! Halfway between Clearwater Beach and St. Petersburg Beach, you can enjoy all of the activities, shops & restaurants both towns have to offer and everything in between. Rent a boat and cruise the inter coastal or visit one of the many State parks close by. John's Pass is a favorite for local shopping and there are restaurants galore up and down Gulf Blvd. Busch Gardens is just across Tampa Bay and Orlando attractions such as Disney, Universal & Sea World are about an hour and forty five minutes away. Like to gamble? Take a casino cruise, visit Tampa Bay Downs, the greyhound races, jai alai, or stop at the Seminole Casino, all within a short drive from the beach.

Second floor condo, sorry - not handicap accessible, no elevator. Board games, cards, and a small library of books are furnished for your enjoyment. We truly want our guests to have the best vacation experience ever! Low allergen unit with carpet only in the upstairs loft. All other areas are tiled or wood floors. Brand new Central AC unit replaced in 2008. No pets allowed, no smoking. Guests are welcome to smoke on the deck.

Best vacation ever!

Dolphins Run was all it said and way more. The location couldn't be more perfect! It was easy to find, the beach super close, the neighborhood was quiet enough for relaxing, yet a fun night on the town was easy access within walking distance, the trolley or even a short drive. We were most impressed with how clean the property was when we arrived it was immaculate. Our kids had fun with the large assortment of beach and pool toys (pool was also very clean) The owners have thought of everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Books, beach towels, portable grill and plenty of information to help decide what to do for the day. The boys loved the loft and said the beds were "super comfy" Quite a compliment from 15 yr olds! They also thought that the mini golf, which is short walk away, was the best one they've ever played. Also a great compliment from boys who have done about every mini golf the Wisconsin Dells has to offer! We loved it and can't say enough! We relaxed, did a quick trip to Orlando for one day, went to a wedding (iron and ironing board came in handy!) and relaxed some more. The owners are awesome and bent over backwards to make us feel at home. This is not the first time we used a vacation rental we found online, but this experience is definitely why we will do it again, we would not hesitate to stay at Dolphins Run again. Can not wait to come back, it won't be soon enough!

We all had such a fabulous week in the condo. It was the nicest week of our 3 week vacation. The location was spot on, even better than some of the more touristy stretches of the coast where they had the big resort buildings.

We especially liked the close proximity and quietness of the beach. The balcony really made the condo special despite it being too hot to sit out most days, we saw some spectacular storms a few evenings.

My 2 boys disappeared upstairs a lot of the time which made it even more restful!

We woud highly recommend staying at this location again!

Dolphin Run is everything the owner says and more!

My family stayed at Dolphin Run in late June. The condo was clean and the furnishings were topnotch. It truly had everything we needed. It's just a short walk across the road to the beach and my crew had a wonderful time. While we were there, the beaches were not crowded at all. My teenagers went to Clearwater a couple of days and enjoyed their beaches. It's just a 10-15 minute drive and very convenient.

The food was great. We recommend Timeout at John's Pass and Crabby Bill's in Clearwater. Lighthouse Donuts is a can't miss. My husband brought back fresh donuts each morning.

The owner has truly created a wonderful getaway. Thanks so much, Annie.

A wonderful getaway

I am sorry this has taken so long, but I am afraid I have to reiterate all the glowing reviews that have come before this one. Everything was wonderful, the minute we walked in the door we felt at home, a wonderfully clean and modern and idealluy situated. Right across from the gorgeous beach with a wonderful view of the intercoastal, in which I got to see the dolphins. Every piece of information you could possibly want is given to you, either beforehand or through the extensive welcome packet in the condo. And of course Annie was an absolute joy to deal with..always available and accomodating to any request. I hope we will return soon. Thank you!

Dolphins Run Fall Recession Specials!

This rental property is in a beautiful location and it is clean and very well maintained. The view from the balcony and the two sliding glass doors is of the intercoastal waterway with a lot of birds, fish and other wildlife to watch. The ocean is accross the street with the public access a few doors down. The only drawback is the stairs. The owner provided excellent customer service and provides a list of things to do and see while there. The ocean beach is beautiful and the sunsets are really nice there. The pool is also very clean and well maintained. It gives a change from the ocean. There are many restaurants that are a short drive from the property. There is a bus service that goes up and down the main road. My favorite was Crabby Bill's. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and have already arranged to rent this property again.
