Historic Warren Village is located in Central Vermont in the Mad River Valley. The village has its own covered bridge, general store, country inn with fine dining as well as a spa, antiques and craft stores. We are just outside the Green Mountain National Park and next to the Appalachian and Vermont Long Trails. In Summer there are many performing arts festivals (theatre, circus, movie, opera), arts and craft fairs, weekly farmers' market and horse riding competitions in addition to traditional outdoor activities. This is a thriving agricultural area with an active locavore restaurant scene. Surrounded by forests, Warren is famous for its Fall foliage display in late September-early October. Yestermorrow Design-Build School in Warren offers creative, educational workshops. In Winter there are two down-hill ski resorts (Sugarbush and Mad River Glen), two cross-country ski parks (Ole and Blueberry Lake), sledding (on a Mad River Rocket), ice-skating, snow-shoeing and winter hiking.
