Located in picturesque Ferguson's Cove, one of Halifax's best kept secrets, you will find Freedom Seaside Cottage. This comfortable, cozy, home boasts a view of the Atlantic Ocean that most people dream of being able to see. Situated directly across from McNab's Island, the house has views from virtually every window, whether it is looking into downtown Halifax or out to the deep waters of the Atlantic. From the house's wrap around deck or large windows you will be able to watch the whales and porpoises that feed in front of the cottage, all kinds of wildlife and of course every boat that goes in and out of the harbour. Decorated with new furniture and linens, the cottage is equipped with tv's, stereo, bbq, washer/dryer, dishwasher and full kitchen. We are pleased to supply our guests movies, music, books, magazines, games and use of the indoor spa. A complete guest book that includes information on our area, maps, take out menus and information on the home is at your disposal.

Other rental amenities: Freedom Seaside Cottage is very proud to offer a peaceful relaxing getaway with breathtaking views to give that rural feeling everyone dreams of having on vacation yet is just a short drive from downtown Halifax where you will find nightly entertainment, family activities such as the Busker Festival, Harbour Hopper, Theadore Tugboat as well as numerous other events which take place throughout the year.

It is our goal to ensure our guests are as comfortable as possible, we have done our best to include everything you would need to feel as though you were in your own home! We ask that our guests fill out and return a rental agreement which will be sent to them upon booking with us and please note we also require an orientation upon your arrival to answer any questions you may have.

Most Beautiful Stay on the East Coast!

We would like to let all that stumble accross this beautiful home while searching for the perfect getaway that you need look no more!
My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay at this property on our Honeymoon. This home was THE most inviting, most comfortable, most scenic stay we have ever experienced! From the quiet peaceful nights, the calm peaceful evenings to the gorgeous sunrise over the water in the mornings. The privacy was very much appreciated as well. . The home is very warm and inviting, and extremely well maintainted. We will definately be visiting this spot again in the future!
This home is highly recommended by both of us, for honeymooning couples and families alike
