Santa Fe holiday condo

If you are looking for a place to stay in Santa Fe, look no further. This Condo is where you will want to be! Located in the picturesque rural community of Tesuque, we enjoyed the quiet surroundings and beautiful vistas while also enjoying the convenience of being no more than 10 minutes from the Plaza and no more than 5 minutes from the Opera. This condo is meticulously furnished with the added pleasure of southwest artwork. The linens and tableware are what you would expect to find in a 5-star accommodation. The two patios lend themselves to relaxation in a flower filled oasis. We certainly couldn't have asked for more! SV and MC, Arizona

This large condo--a free-standing "casita," has been recently renovated and furnished with the signature style of the owner. From comfortable beds with superb bedding to a perfect little patio garden under the huge New Mexican sky, this is a place you will want to go back to.

The owner's antique/folk art collections grace every room, so the decor is very personal and un "condo-like." You might wonder if you can fit the sitting angel into your suitcase or slip one of the Chinese wedding baskets into your trunk, but the owner is such a lovely woman that you won't be able to pull it off.

The roomy casita is only 15 minutes away from downtown Santa Fe, but once you turn into the property off of 592, you feel you are deep in the high desert, away from the maddening crowds. There are three good restaurants within ten minutes of your front door, and the elegant bar the new Encantado Auberge Resort is just across the street--an excellent place for sunset drinks and sliders.

If you are a first time visitor to the Santa Fe, area, don't worry, as the huge coffee table in the living room spills over with books, pamphlets, magazines, etc. offering more things to do than you will have time for. When you have crammed too many things into your day, and you can't walk another foot, you will feel so fortunate--and wise--to go "home" to "Santa Domingo."
