With marble floors and wrought ironwork throughout, the ground floor comprises of fully equipped kitchen, utility room, cloakroom/ WC, spacious dining area and sitting room which has an open fireplace and patio doors onto a large terrace with garden beyond. On the first floor are 3 large double/twin bedrooms (one en-suite) and family bathroom. The upstairs terrace, accessed by two of the bedrooms, has spectacular views to the golf course, lighthouse and coast, the third bedroom has a small balcony. Our shared swimming pool sits about a hundred yards away in a private garden surrounded by palm trees and Playa Alcaidesa, the long sandy beach, which has been awarded an EU Blue Flag is a short stroll away. Golfers are ideally situated to play at Alcaidesa, San Roque, Valderrama and many other golf courses within a 20 minute drive. The village square is a short walk where local amenities include supermarket, pharmacy and bars/restaurants.

Places To Go

As part of your stay you may wish to visit the surrounding area. Further information is available in the house, but here just a few examples: Sotogrande, Duquesa and Banus have wonderful marinas where you can enjoy watersports, or simply enjoy the ambiance of the shops and restaurants/bars. Gibraltar is famous for the apes on the rock and duty free goods. Visit Tarifa where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic providing beautiful beaches and ideal conditions for surfing. Ronda sits high above the Tajo gorge and boasts fines architecture, one of the oldest buildings in Spain and both Moorish and Roman remains. Casares is a beautiful Andalusian village of two or three hundred white walled houses rising up the side of a rocky gorge. There are splendid vistas over the sierra Bermeja. For those younger guests - Selwo Park, a nature park based on an African Safari Park which houses over 2000 animals in the semi-wild, Water World and Dolphin watching are always a big hit!

Skiing Information:

Sierra Nevada is 2-3 hours drive away and offers superb skiing.

Golf Information:

Alcaidesa's links golf course is spectacular as it winds it's way along the coastline and then inland to the hills above the village. Famous championship courses such as Valderrama, Sotogrande, La Canada and San Roque are just a few of the many courses that are within a 20 minute drive.
