More information about the Par 3 Golf Hole:: A golfer's dream! The professionally designed 80-yard Par 3 golf hole in the front yard enables guests to play at home. The fairway is lined with a cactus garden and there are garden chairs and a cocktail table for observers to enjoy morning coffee or happy hour while taking in the breathtaking desert sunsets. Please note: only sand wedges are permitted to be used. We also ask that you tee up on the turf mat provided to preserve our precious grass. This is also a perfect place to let your pets run around! Since the entire property is gated and fenced, your pets can roam the grounds freely amongst the quail and bunnies that live on our grounds.

More information about the Resort-style Backyard:: Truly an entertainer's paradise, the main patio (approx. 3000sf) features a sparkling, heatable diving pool surrounded by lush foliage and palm trees. Two of the bedroom suites have French doors that open directly to the pool patio. There is an outdoor bar, sink and a built-in stainless steel gas BBQ grill. The centerpiece of the patio is a Mexican stone fountain and the cozy fireplace area has dining for 4. The larger patio table seats 8 for dining, and the remaining furniture can accomodate up to 12 more people! The 8-person hot tub is the ideal place to relax and unwind at the end of a long day. Pool and Spa are all automated, we provide you with a remote control that handles all functions of the spa and pool. Heating the pool will result in extra daily charges. Please ask for details.

Great time!

I play on an adult armature baseball team which has been visiting AZ for over 10 years and this was by far the best vacation to-date. We found it to be true to all expectation. We had 15 players stay and everyone agrees that the property was an excellent choice. The layout was very spacious-with what we had to call a West and East Wing. All of the appliances and amenities that were described were included and in working order. The property is well-maintained and very clean, which is difficult to do on such a large property. The owner and his wife met us at the door and are very easy to work with. They gave us a full tour and were very responsive to all of our needs at the time and during the stay. The location was ideal as it was close to shopping, restaurants, golf, and the highway (101). I would highly recommend this property to large groups. You will not be disappointed!

Family Vacation

We were privilaged to take our all of our children and grandchildren on a family vacation for a week at Rockingham. We attended a reunion while in Scottsdale, but the rest of the time we spent at "our resort". It was like staying at a resort with the large pool and whirlpool, the beautiful landscaping all around and the outside grill. But this resort was private -- how great! We had plenty of lush beach towels and bath towels.

The kitchen was ample and opened into the family room which made it nice for cooking meals. Several meals we ate outside (with small children it made it easier for clean up) even though it was warm, but still pleasant. (The misters were nice.) One evening we enjoyed a steak dinner in the formal dining room.

Each little family had their own bedroom and bathroom. It was nice for privacy and the little ones could nap.

We had such a great time and we all loved our stay there; I think of this as our dream vacation. Thanks Tom and Jan for sharing such a beautiful home with us. We absolutely loved it!

Family Birthday Party

Our extended family of 20 something went last March for our Grandma's 80th birthday. It was a surprise and she had no idea we all came and were staying in the house. The pool was great and the house was roomy. We used the front lawn/golf thingy for yoga every afternoon. We also enjoyed all of the pretty scenery all around the house which we used for family photos. It also was close to a great running path (the Green Path). The owners were very helpful too. We enjoyed the blood oranges that fell off the trees. Our Grandma loved the house and thought it was a great surprise. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back.

CHRISTMAS VACATION

The property in Scottsdale was great. It was private but yet it was close to everything. We had a Christmas family reunion and it handled all 16 of us beautifully alot of private areas if that is what was needed while the living room area with a pool table was wonderful for Christmas day activities the lighting in that area could be better. The owner decorated a tree for us and was always available for questions and phone calls. Amenities great and we all enjoyed the comfortable beds!!! I would reccommend this property to anyone. It was very clean and well maintained. The pool was a little bit of a issue but with the weather we had we were unable to use. I would return to this property again.I would rate the property a 5

Fun in the November Desert Sun

Tom and Jan are great hosts and their home exceeded all our expectations. With a young family it was great to have such a large house all on one level with space for all to feel comfortable for 10 days plus.

Pool area is super and the adults enjoyed the par 3. The kids used the par 3 area for a soccer and baseball field and the location is fantastic.

It is a short walk to the McCormick train park for kids and minutes from all the best shopping by car.

We will definitely want to stay there for our 2009 vacation.
