Our home away from home is located in picturesque Sabinsville, PA just 1 mile away from Beechwood Lake and PA State Game Lands. You will find all the comforts of home with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, eat-in kitchen (fully equipped with dishes, cookware & limited spices), living room (with sofa bed), front porch, back deck with picnic table & gas grill and a fire pit. You will be 10 minutes from town for all your shopping needs and the River Valley Golf Club in beautiful Westfield, PA. Corning, NY is within an hour drive where you will enjoy the wineries, Corning Glass Museum, Watkins Glen State Park and many other attractions. Wellsboro, PA is home of the PA Grand Canyon and is an easy 30 minute drive away. Bring your bike and ride on rails to trails (20 minutes away) or tow your boat and put her in at the 'stocked' Beechwood Lake or other area lakes! Ski Denton Hill or Ski Saw Mill, both are within 45 minutes. Be close enough to everything but far enough away to relax and unwind!

Located in the PA Wilds you will find tons to do!!! Beechwood Lake is STOCKED for fishing and is just 1 mile down the road, bring your small fishing boat and fish the day away!! PA State Game Lands is close by in both Tioga and Potter Counties. Cowanesque Lake is an approximate 30 minute drive where you can swim, fish or go boating (no hp restrictions). The PA Grand Canyon is a short drive to Wellsboro, PA. The River Valley Golf Club is a 10 minute ride into Westfield were you can also get groceries, gas and restaurants. The newly completed Rails to Trails is within 20 minutes so bring you bikes and enjoy the ride!!!! Don't forget about New York being an easy 40 minute drive away. Remember to pick up some of Pennsylvania's finest Maple syrup!! Due to the rural location, cell phone service is not guaranteed. There is a phone at the house for emergencies and local calls. You can find tons of things to do here or just kick back and relax! Whatever you want to do, you can do it here!!

Notes: In an attempt to keep the cottage renter friendly, smoking is NOT permitted in the house, however, smoking outside on the deck and property is fine. We recently added an air conditioning unit for the rare occasion when temperatures rise. We want you to be able to relax and unwind, for this reason, the television is NOT EQUIPPED with cable or satellite. The television is equipped with a DVD/VCR for viewing movies should you decide to stay indoors. Feel free to view our movies or bring your own. Enjoy the front porch view!! There is an outside fire pit for those cool evenings and star gazing... You won't believe the night sky! PA State Game Land in Tioga and Potter Counties are just minutes away for your hunting pleasure, NO hunting on the premises. ATV and snowmobile trails are close by in Potter County. YOU WILL NEED A CALLING CARD FOR MOST CALLS, PHONE IS FOR LOCAL AND EMERGENCY CALLING ONLY. There is a calling card provided for minimal calls. Bring the whole family and reconnect!

Perfect Autumn Getaway

My husband, 3 of our friends and I had a relaxing and fun weekend at the Cozy Mountain Retreat. We were amazed by the view of the fall foliage from cabin.. what a great surprise! The cabin was very comfortable and exceptionally cleaned. I would recommend this rental to anyone - great stay!

QUIET RETREAT

We just needed to get away from it all and this was the place! Our family was able to relax and enjoy the outdoors together and catch up on each others lives. We enjoyed the fire pit every night and the stars are unbelievable!!! The house had everything we could possible need and was neat and clean. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Comfy & Clean Cabin

Staying at Cozy Mountain Retreat made our vacation to the PA mountains even more enjoyable than we had imagined. It is very obvious the owners care for the cabin it is very clean and comfy. We loved the extras: checkerboard on the front porch, spices in the kitchen and firepit in the backyard. We look forward to coming back and would recommend this cabin to anyone!

This truly was the perfect place to reconnect with my family, friends, and nature! My husband and I loved the setting and enjoyed the view from the front porch. Pleasantly surprised with the amount of interior amenities including frozen mugs, selection of games and movies, and the decor. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening sky while making smores on the fire. My husband and I have already recommended Cozy Mountain Retreat to our friends! We are looking forward to our next stay here!

Quiet Getaway

If you like a quiet retreat with a gorgeous nightview of the stars from the fire pit in the back yard, then this is the place for you. Near the town of Wellsboro, which had wonderful antique shops and excellent dinning, and close to the Grand Canyon of Pa., makes this a perfect spot for the great outdoors. We hiked and shopped. Our next trip back we intend to do some fishing and biking as we found nearby locations for both. Enjoy the peaceful outdoors here! We did!
