Situated on a ridge 100 ft above the Pacific Ocean, this 18,000 sq ft family compound provides a tropical ambiance unequaled in Central America. The compound draped by jungle-covered mountains affords unsurpassed vistas across the Pacific to the Osa Peninsula. Watch groups of pelicans darting above the crashing waves of Playa Dominical, marine life from humpback whales and dolphins. Concrete walls and gated entrance provide unsurpassed security and privacy. The surrounding jungle is passable only to white-faced monkeys, sloths, and toucans. The compound consists of five separate buildings: the principal living area with 25 foot ceilings houses the kitchen, indoor dining and living rooms. A large terrace covered by a palm-thatched palapa adjoins this building and offers open-air dining and living areas. A two-story structure with wide covered terraces contains five bedrooms and bathrooms, all with ocean views.

BEAUTIFUL HOME WITH A BREATHTAKING VIEW

We had the extreme pleasure of renting this property from 9/11/09 to 9/18/09.There were 13 of us who enjoyed every minute of our stay in this tropical paradise.Many birds and wildlife made this stay extra special.It is so beautiful that you hate to leave to experience all the activities that await you in this part of Costa Rica.[whale watching,fishing,horseback riding,surfing,hiking,white water rafting and shopping in this special place called Dominical etc.,etc., etc.] My wife did not want to leave the panoramic view of the ocean this house has to offer.We commented more than once how this view reminded you of looking at a true life movie.The staff is outstanding!.Johnny and Henry are great cooks and caretakers and are very knowledgeable about the wildlife and vegetation.My daughter talked about coming back and getting married here.The infinity pool is much larger than we expected and beautiful.We spent many hours in it.Start to finish ,this home in paradise is terrific and a great value.

My family and I could not have been more pleased with our stay at this compound in Dominical. Throughout our entire stay, we felt as if we were staying in our own private resort with a very accommodating staff, located in the heart of the lush jungle of Costa Rica. The zero edge/ infinity pool looking over the ocean literally made us feel like we were swimming in the Pacific Ocean. The gardens surrounding the whole house were among the most tropical I have ever seen and just added to the whole ambiance of the true "jungle" feel. The inside of the house was much bigger than expected, very clean, with incredible art work and decorating that is perfect for the setting. The resident staff was extremely helpful and punctual on any task we asked of them to complete, ESPECIALLY in preparing and serving delectable meals for us on a daily basis. Highly recommend, will return soon!!

I had a wonderful stay at the compound in Dominical! I traveled in a group of 16 and we had more then enough room! the staff was wonderful and was particulairy great with their talent in preparing and serving meals! I strongly encourage you to look into a large group staying at the compound because the house has enough to offer that not many day trips would be necessary!

Our Dominical Experience

We stayed here April 2008. 7 Kids and 7 Adults. We had plenty of room and had a great time. Weather was beautiful! Directions to the property were terrible. You must have 4-Wheel drive or you will never get up the driveway-- our rental car did not and we hiked every day. Don't expect hotel-style daily maid service. House needs a little TLC. Come with an open mind and be ready to have Fun!! Johnny the house caretaker was wonderful and we enjoyed meeting him and his family.
