Fully furnished, three bedroom, two bath house, situated on your own private lake. 50 acres of lake and landscape out your back door. Bedrooms are one queen with bathroom and tv, second bedroom with queen bed, and third bedroom with single twin and pull out bed. Living room has a double sofa bed and a single sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, laundry room with washer and dryer. Just bring your clothes everything else is provided for a wonderful vacation in South Florida. This is such a unique rental, you will not find another place like it in South Florida.

A fun and memorable vacation

We had the greatest time at this house. It is situated in the most perfect location, it"s like a little piece of paradise, and the greatest thing is that it is right in Fort Lauderdale. Joyce McGinnis welcomed us into the house and it met all out expectations. The lake and property was so nice, we hardly wanted to leave to go to the beach. The price was great too. We have been staying in rentals for years and this place tops our list. Thank you Joyce.

I had a very enjoyable time at this wonderful clean house. It made me feel very secure knowing that i was protected around the gated lake. This area was very privite and the house was so clean, the tile was very shiney. My kids loved having the tennis and basketball court there, so now they couldn't complain that they were bored.
Overall, my experince was terrific!

It waas one of the best trips I've had in years. I recommend you to stay here. It has a lovely tennis court and a place to relax and hang loose.

Bad exprerience

To honest with you I went to this house and as soon as I got there it was nothing like the picture you see in the homeaway website. I didn't even lasted 10 minutes in the house I left to a hotel. At the gate the person there was very unpleasant. Needs improvement. Also there some roaches in the bathroom.
Owner's Response: My house has recently been tiled and updated and the pictures are true and current. The house is lakeside on a 50 acre, fenced and gated property. There are two lighted tennis courts and waterskiing is available on the lake. The woman reserved the house with a nonrefundable deposit. However, when she arrived, she had two adult sons with her who were immediately unhappy with the location. They obviously wanted to be where there is more 'action' and this property is very private. This was at Christmas, our busiest time and I had turned away 6 other requests. When I refused to return her nonrefundable deposit, she became very angry and threatened to write a bad review of my house.

Wonderful vacation

We had such a great time at this vacation rental. The house is situated on a 50 acre lake that is owned by the house owners, we walked around the lake with our dog and had so much space. It is just beautiful a lot of wild life; ducks, fish, ospreys, herons, armadillos, and the best thing is it is so close to downtown and the beach, it is its own small paradise. Thank you Joyce for such a great vacation home at the right price.
