Surrounded by suggestive views of venetian tile roof and bell towers, this 4th floor magnificently renovated penthouse has two double bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a large living area with a large sectional sofa that converts in more sleeping beds. Famous Venice architect Giulio Lattuada transformed the penthouse of this XVII century building into a stylish renovation, introducing state of the art amenities yet re-utilizing original venetian materials and techniques. Furniture is a mix of original antiques and design pieces complemented by art pieces hanging in all the rooms. Enjoy the buzz of the colorful fresh food market one minute away or negotiate the selection of the catch of the day at the near by fish market directly from local fishermen. Ideal for unforgettable staying for one or two couples or family with kids, sleeps up to six people.

Spacious, comfortable, and very charming!

We stayed at the Rialto Market Penthouse for 3 nights in October 2008. Traveling as 2 couples, this apartment is great because it has 2 separate sleeping areas and 2 full bathrooms. Bonus, the towels are plush! The living area is HUGE and comfortable! Great for sharing stories of all the adventures you had during the day with your traveling companions. The proximity of the Rialto (Fish) Market is ideal because it makes it easy to prepare fresh meals at home instead of wasting money on eating out.

Everything in Venice is close and so is this apartment. Close to the market, close to the Grand Canal, and close to a vaporetto station. Next time I go to Venice I'll stay here again if it's available.

Just a warning to the weak-kneed, you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach this true penthouse apartment.
