No noisy neighbors through the walls, no worn out, stained furnishings--this is a family home on the river, occasionally rented. Not a worn out beach rental. All new furnishings, updated, full size appliances. Large, flat screen HD TV. Spa-like bathrooms, tasteful Bali modern decor. Lots of natural light and cross ventilation, super clean, low allergen, eco-friendly environment. Energy efficient appliances and recycling make this a green vacation rental. RiverView was found to be very much as advertised and exactly what I had hoped for; close enough to downtown St. Augustine (~7 mi.) and Cresent Beach (~9 mi.), but with a physical look of "Old Florida" on the Matanzas River:
peaceful, quiet & laid back!

Dana is easy to interface with, she is very helpfull and offers many usefull enlightenments and suggestions as to what to do, where to go and when to do it. This was not our first vist to St. Augustine, but because of the overall RiverView experience, we will be coming back again, and again.

My only regret was that January was too early to watch the swallow-tailed kites in the area, but a pilated woodpecker was spotted not more than 20 feet from the screened Florida room.

Delightful Surprise

This unit is not on the beach, which means it is super clean, super quiet, surrounded by old Florida nature. We used to stay at the beach, now we stay on the river in this meticulously maintained "treehouse." Not your typical Florida condo with palm frond upholstery and furniture from Goodwill. Tasteful and comfortable.
