Swept Away is a lovely cabin that is furnished beautifully, has a great game room with a pool table and foosball-game table, hot tub, screened in porch, multiple decks and is accessible by paved road. There are 3 Queen Size Bedrooms, all with private full baths and additional sleeping on the couch in the loft which makes out into a bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and all the linens and towels are furnished. All you need is food, clothing and your beverages. There is a lovely screened porch across the back which looks down onto the magnificent lower deck and steps leading to the bubbling creek at the bottom. The hot tub is a wonderful place to relax after a game of pool in the lower level walk out game room. Downtown Blue Ridge is just minutes away with antique shopping, the Blue Ridge Train and great places to eat. This is the place to relax and and forget the city hustle and bustle.

Swept Away Cabin is situated right outside of historic Blue Ridge, Georgia in a lovely area known as Mountain Tops. Ride the famous Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad which travels through the mountains and along the Toccoa River to McCaysville and back. There are numerous antique shops and restaurants. Horseback riding, white water rafting, hiking, tubing, trout fishing in the Toccoa River, scenic drives, jet skiing on Blue Ridge Lake, swimming, boating - these are just a few of the wonderful activities available. Don't miss the Ocoee Whitewater Center which is where the 1996 white water kayaking trials were held. You can spend all day just watching the rafts and kayaks shoot the river here. There are also numerous festivals, fairs and music offered in the area from early Spring till late Fall. Or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

More Information: The cabin is fully furnished and equipped. There is a separate laundry room in the lower level with a full size washer and dryer. The only items you need to bring are clothing, food, beverages, and personal items. Blue Ridge has several grocery stores, CVS and Home Depot. There are also numerous places to dine. The outdoor drive-in shows the most recent releases and is one of the few drive-ins left in the South. Whitewater rafting on the Ocoee is first class and there are half day and full day trips. There are several great places to horseback ride and of course numerous places to fish, hike or shop. This is a wonderful area to visit and many have decided to stay or purchase 2nd homes. Please come visit us.

We were a party of 3 families with kids and each of us took our own sweet memories away from this beautiful place. It was so well maintained and neat, I mean exceptionally neat. The game room and hot tub in the cabin were perfect for a relaxing evening after a nice day exploring the city of Blue Ridge. And all of us BBQing in this secluded haven was a perfect ending to our holiday. Just 1.5 hours away from the hustle & bustle of Atlanta, Blue Ridge and this cabin is a must go. They had almost everything to make you feel at home except for a few minor things like extra paper towels or soap and also a little noise gets amplified within the cabin so not as much privacy as you'd have wanted if you were visiting with another family. The little creek flowing near the cabin was a cute little 'adventure' spot for the kids. Also to mention, the customer service was great. They allowed us to check in early and check out late because there were no guests before and after us for the cabin. I just can't say enough...it's worth the visit.
